I love this store!! Everyone who works here is very nice & helpful and everything is always neat but they need more checkers, sometimes it takes awhile to check out.. It closes at 12 not 2.. Google is wrong!

Always find what I'm needing. The staff is usually friendly and willing to answer any ?s. For the most part the overall store is clean and well lit.

Been my go to place for 30+ yrs. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice size store! Not humongous!
I was asked to update my review. So I still feel the same, it's still my favorite. It may not carry everything the big store has, but is suits me just fine. Staff is helpful and friendly (shout out to my favorite guy Allan) that's a big deal to me. If I go to any store that staff is unpleasant I'm out. I just wish they still were 24 hr. I work late so I really miss that.

Very good to the customers, I'm just so happy for the customers loyalty to continuing to shop ,this is one establishment that I don't believe will close it's door to the community because of fast track rapid city changes of internet shopping and delivery their able to add it to their production for all New generation . I'm going to say never delete old School accomplishments when the collaboration with empowerment empowers us we all etc. Let's give are self a hand in the sky way up high Thanks The whole shopping center for consistent real lives matter Thanks

I've gotten to know the staff from doordashing at the Woodside Safeway and they're all Dynamite incredibly hard-working people the staff is friendly knowledgeable and personable. And it got two restrooms just letting the Dashers know

A bit crowded but a quality grocery store. I would recommend the pickup grocery option within the app. Super convenient.

What can I say about Safeway you are doing a lot better some of your worker need to smile and say hello or hi the workers that we talk too they are very friendly most of them we do know them they say hello how is your evening give us a smile when I am looking for something they do help me keep it up doing a good job

Went to the pharmacy for the booster shot. The pharmacist is excellent and went through the docs carefully and gave right shot very well. They need to staff the pharmacy better though - she is doing everything

Very clean and well stocked. The house brands are very high quality with a lower price. Produce department is very good with top quality and great variety. Checkout can be slow sometimes.

I grew up to go and shopping the food at Safeway that I am second next generation then my daughter is next 3rd generation. We love Safeway so much! If we dislike the food and bring the package or bag to Safeway and we refund the money back and buy some things we like. That's why! 😘😍

Safeway 747 is my go-to grocery for more than 35 years. I know where everything is, I know when to go in and out to beat the peek hours. Fresh produce, great flower dept. good specials.✅

We love what site Safeway the best, but the deli needs to constantly have dill pickles, and pepperoncinis and more mayonnaise on their sandwiches everyday of the week not just once in awhile that makes the sandwich awesome

My favorite grocery store all my life in San Jose then moved here in Redwood City. I am so glad that I live near Safeway, it is only 2 blocks away from home. It is nice and friendly staff workers and I truly missed staff worker named was Allen. I think I he retired at Safeway on Woodside Road. I wish he would have told me that he planned to retired. I have not changed to say congratulations to him and patience with me bec I am deaf customer. I have been this Safeway since 1998 to now. Also he met my daughter when she was baby. Now she is 14 yrs old. Sad for him go! He was best Staff worker and very respect me as deaf customer.

This Safeway on Woodside Rd has been a complete joy to shop in, like tonight. I'm disabled and people working there went out of their way to help me get a dollar off (even though the coupon on my phone was the problem)! Terrific attitude by everyone that helped me tonight.

Really friendly local market. Great staff and big for the neighborhood.

I love this Safeway then the rest of the area .in my experience lines can get big but the workers are very fast to get you out the door love there selection of chesse,dessert,meats and wines overall you'll find what you want and great costumer service very clean space

This has been my spot for 35 yrs. The other Safeway is too big for me. Staff is wonderful especially night crew.

I thought I was going to have to pay 700.00 for a prescription. The pharmacy called the insurance and with a savings card I didn't have to pay anything for my prescription. The pharmacy staff are very helpful and friendly!
SAFEWAY PHARMACY ROCKS!!!

This is one of the only stores that is open late and that's very convenient for many late nighters like myself. Stocked & clean. Great customer service!
