Consider the Lily of the Market! Now here is an Asian Market with charm packed in like those sardines packed into a little tin can, with spices!

It’s a wonder. It’s colorful and organized, plentiful and interesting, diverse and inclusive. Not so crowded that you can’t get around, but absolutely bursting with a huge variety of all things Asian. All the sauces, all the spices, all the condiments, the implements. It’s amazing how much they have managed to cram into such a small space without creating havoc.

The place straddles Halsey and Weidler like a land bridge for shoppers with checkout points on each side and you can roam between the two streets like wild grazing wildebeests discovering new noodles and curry pastes. A gentleman came out of the back and asked if he could help me find anything… I’m sorry, when was the last time THAT happened at an Asian market? Usually you are left to sink or swim on your own as you forage the unknown aisles.

And then there is the the robust Deli section on the Weidler side! Lunches to go, made hot, while you wait. Premade grab and go, tons of interesting deserts, great looking meats! Really, this was one of the most interesting, welcoming Asian markets I’ve ever visited! And I’ve visited a lot, not just here.

Lily Market is a fusion market. Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Filipino and probably a lot more and the clientele reflected that, it was a comfortable mix of people, a nice warm flow of all ages and cultures happily finding exactly what they were looking for. Everybody seemed to be in a great mood and the store seemed to be right in the middle of that. A fulcrum right there between the two streets, a balancing act of cultures and food and people. My new favorite market.

Stopped by here specifically for the food. Its so delicious, and fresh. I ordered more food than this but these were my most favorites! Sticky rice with Lao sausage & Jeow (2 kinds: tomato & chili ) We ordered salad rolls, and pad thai too but forgot to picture them. I highly recommend you try these f you need something quick! ( p.s, dip that sticky rice in the jeow, its bussin bussin lol )

LOVE going to this Asian store for ingredients and especially for a hot meal for lunch. Reasonably prices and taste delicious.

Lots of items being carried by the store, friendly staff, available to go food and organized shelves. Parking is ample and people come and go.

Love this place. People are really nice and they always have everything I need to cook great Thai and Vietnamese foods at home!

Great little Asian grocery store with most of the essential ingredients for Asian dishes, including Asian cooking utensils (cooking chopsticks, rice cookers etc.). Staff are super friendly and helpful!
They also have a small deli with freshly made Vietnamese and Thai food.
Highly recommended!

Needed groceries, plates and cookware for my new place. Stopped here and I found absolutely everything on my list. Very good prices, very good amount of product to choose from. Excellent store, will be getting groceries here from now on!

Such a great Asian market, I'm sure they have anything you could possibly need. Shelves and shelves of cooking ingredients as well as fresh produce and cooking utensils. They also have a deli in the back with hot and cold food to go. I got pad Thai and a chicken curry that was amazing! The pork buns were delicious. I will definitely be back to try more of their food!

The people is generous my husband go there and ask for help to the ministry, the people there are not hesitate to gave any help to make food the big event Portland stop against violence that community will be great again, Thank you! my complaint i have bought 2 of the 4 pack Egg Hom Bows `
for couple years the last two weeks there is barely any egg visible in the Hom Bow

I love this place. The fresh produce is very good and affordable. The hot food there is perfect! Pad Thai, curry, fried rice, salad rolls and much more. Raw coconuts are a sweet treat for fresh coconut water, and never cost more than a buck and change. My favorite Market!

You would have never thought that the best Thai/Lao food comes from here. A friend told me about this amazing place and I've been hooked ever since. Customer service is beyond excellent and they do their best to get to everyone when it gets extremely busy. I recommend you call ahead so you don't have to wait if you're in a rush. I drive 8 miles every week or so to get my fix and to me it is worth it. I wish I could give 10 stars!

Their deli is amazing, delicious & very authentic. Best place also to buy snacks from Asia, they have a lot of options & are super affordable.

Every kind of soy sauce, rice vinegar and noodle known to man lives here. Staff is awesome. Family-owned; friendly, long-time staff. Inexpensive produce for making Asian-inspired meals. Freshly prepared foods available daily to enjoy if you stop by for lunch.

Fantastic Food Options and a wide array of Asian groceries to choose from (like Thai, Vietnamese, and Filipino). Was able to get a reasonably priced lunch and get all the ingredients to make sinigang and Thai red curry. Will definitely re-visit in the future. Owner was also extremely friendly

Hands down the best Thai food I've had in Portland. I've been going here for years and I finally got around to leaving a review.

This is not a restaurant, per se, but they have a deli and a seating area. Their salad rolls are to die for, and they serve several other Thai dishes, including homemade Thai sausages that are delicious. If you get there after 6 or 7 pm, they clear the hot bar out, but never fear - they still take custom orders that they'll make for you then and there for a small extra fee. Also, anything left over from the day's hot bar gets discounted after about 7 - good deal.

Besides the ready-made food, they have a great grocery selection, with dry goods, produce, meat and frozen items. The prices are very good - about as low as I've seen in Portland-area Asian markets. They specialize in Thai foods, but have some other Asian products as well.

In short, I highly, highly recommend this place! Not only is it tasty and the grocery prices are good, but it's also family-owned. Support local businesses! <3

The product is mostly Thai based, but there's a good amount of other options as well. Produce is a little lacking. Hot food is super tasty(!) and very well priced.
