Sam at the returns/customer service was so nice, went extra mile to help me order the product and greeted us with big smile at 8am in the morning!! Ive been having bad experiences at the customer service at different locations (niles on dempster especially) but she made me completely forget about those experiences. Thank you for making my morning!! And thanks for complimenting my hair haha!! Definitely coming to this location. 1000/1000!

I wish I got the name of the supervisor from the customer service desk. My experience was about to take a terrible turn until she stepped in. She was able to help me and was very courteous/professional. She even applied military discount by looking at my va I.d(usually have to setup an account)

The First Lady though did not want to help and was very rude. Almost like she didn’t want to deal with us.

Great customer service at the front desk at the Gurnee store, had a little issue, was quickly solved by Latoya,Kelly, Diane, and the lady that takes care of the plants.
All women at the customer service desk definitely got the issue solved quickly
Also, shout out to Dorothy Taylor in the window/blind department.

It was Early in the morning and Customer service seemed empty , but there she was Diane ready to help me and getting some cleaning done. She was able to help me with my item credit and as we were talking i started to loose my voice and she offer me water and was very attentive. Definitely coming back

Today i went to home depot to purshase a trellis and they were working on the area and they had it close up thankfully a guy named Victor didn't hesitate and ask if I needed help he kindly open let me in to get what I needed to get and even help me bringing it down since I was a little challenging but companies should really consider and getting more people like him to have outstanding costumer service thank you victor.😊

I made multiple trips to this store while installing a new hot water heater at my home. I had to re-route gas and water lines, I was completely lost trying to find the various parts and tools. Sebastian was very knowledgable about the inventory and pointed out the proper materials for the job during each visit. Sebastian’s assistance allowed me to complete the project in one day. Great customer experience.

I am stunned by the customer service here, my car battery died and with no hope of coming home to watch my prince lebron, an employee by the name of Zach went and jump started my car with HIS BEAR HANDS. I am forever indebted to home depot and Zach

The rest of the staff is nice too, even the older lady trying to sign you up for the home Depot card and the cart guy will talk your ear off and always has a pleasant demeanor!!

I had my kitchen counter tops installed here and was very pleased at the customer service and product knowledge of the associates. Dawn was exceptional. She helped me every step of the way. She offered educated tips and helped me make the right choice for my needs. The installer was very professional and did an excellent job as well. I highly recommend Dawn at the Home Depot. I have been to other stores where the associates won't even offer assistance. This store is really the best with competitive pricing.

Victor from the paint department (department supervisor) was SO helpful and generous. When I explained that I was looking for paint samples for a graphic design class, he took an interest/went above and beyond to help me. I wish I could have thanked him more for his kindness.

Just had a great experience at the Gurnee Home Depot. I wanted to buy some power tools to build a catio. Bob Lila in the tools dept was exceptiomal. I have disabilities and had specific needs. He didnt brush me off. He asked what I needed and spent the extra time it took to get the best tools for me. I am very happy thanks to his help.

I came to this location on 6/1 to get some diy items for an event I was planning while home visiting family. STEFAN was amazing. I don’t usually leave reviews , but if I could’ve tipped him I would’ve because he went over and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed. Stefan works in the plumbing section I believe and had some sort of injury to his leg or foot, but when I say he wouldn’t let it bother him, he continued to give me excellent service!

These 4 stars are for him and I hope the Corporate office monitors this business page, because I have no doubt he has given others the same quality customer service experience!

Great store, well organized

I’ve lived in Gurnee for 3 years now and go to Home Depot constantly. Their prices are better and they have a generous military discount. Helpful and proactive staff that is willing to stop what they are doing to help. Appreciate the layout and structure of the store also.
