The deli is usually good.

The bathrooms are places you NEVER want to go into. Sadly I've never seen them clean, and I've seen them quite foul many times.

This review is for the manager Stacy, who went above and beyond in the customer service department and was not only pleasant and professional, but incredibly kind-hearted and caring to boot! I have had other less-than-stellar experiences at this particular store so I am not sure if you are a new manager, but certainly the best I have had the pleasure to meet. May your skills and talents take you far, you are a gem and they are very lucky to have you.

Great friendly people working there, always ready to help. I have been to grocery stores all over and this store has the most beautiful produce department I've ever seen. I was almost afraid to grab my veggies because I didn't want to ruin the set up. Clayton, the big kid working that department, deserves a raise and a promotion for his attention to detail and customer service skills.

I used the mobile app to order food for pickup since I am not feeling well. The young man delivered to my trunk and was very pleasant.

These folks are so kind. Lost my car key in the store & they helped us so much. Thank you!

Not a bad Safeway for a remote part of the world! I was able to grab a few non-perishable things for an early next morning trip. The barista at the inside Starbucks was awesome, considering she just closed. I think she was glad I only wanted black coffee for a long drive!

The five stars are for the staff, not the management. Have your employees not been tortured enough? Apparently not. First they are abused by the anti-mask people, then the summer tourists. Now, in a store already too crowded with people and carts, you have two employees pushing carts and pushing products. Seriously? Look into their eyes...they definitely are not happy with this task. If I want to know about a deal, I'll read the weekly ad.
No wonder you have been short-staffed all summer. You might want to pay them more also.

Nice to have a store like this in Homer. Great quality, nice selection, reasonable prices. You will still find far better prices in Anchorage, but this is a bit of a captive market if you need a supermarket. I feel like prices have improved since they opened.

I give this Safeway a 5 star rating only because they have always had what I needed and the Starbucks is great. The store has been clean when I have stopped by there and customer service has always been good. I always come by here when I am in town for work.

Nice little supermarket. For those who may not be familiar, it is part of the Kroger family of stores. Typical supermarket with decent layout, good hours, and good selection. Especially for Alaska, where many markets are much smaller with less selection.

The employees at homer Safeway are the finest people in town. They deserve the best recognition and the most appreciation. 10/10 experience everytime I go..

The floral department is fabulous- I just gave them a budget and the beautiful bouquet they made was big enough to be split into two arrangements at home :)

The produce section and selection is decently sized for the store size. Not as big as the Safeway in Anchorage, but we found everything we were looking for.

Anchorage only grocery store that stays open late.. things do run out there but it has a large variety of groceries including halal ground beef

Friendly helpful staff all through the store. Several people stopped what they were doing to help me find a product. Clean and lots of choices.

Very nice store! They have tons of stuff but that also depends on the number of folks shopping. The store can be mobbed and depleted of goods. They have a great selection of goods and the prices are as expected.

Love this local Carr's/Safeway. No matter where we go in AK, these guys pull through. Thank you Homer Safeway for being there. I was even able to get my king salmon stamp before landing my 27 pounder!!
