Mike's Alaskan Eatery

I called in an order for a cobb salad that I subbed out cheddar instead of the blue cheese on (I just don't like blue cheese). The ingredients were fresh and delicious. My only critique would be a plastic knife to cut bite size pieces. My son insisted we get a birthday cake Sunday to share from bubbles. Everything was so yummy.

Wife and I stopped in for a quick takeout lunch and decided to share the Reuben. Bye far the best Reuben we have ever had anywhere, we will definitely be back to Mike's!

Ate here for the first time. Just became our new favorite place to eat. Had The Franklin, BLT, and the Cobb Salad. Absolutely delicious. Worth the hype.

Very incredibly good sandwich and drink. Seems to specialize in wonderful drinks as well as great sandwiches. My BLT was perfect. Cherry Coke was incredible. Not the store bought kind.

Mike's never ever disappoints. Delicious food, fabulously cheerful and helpful staff, and loyal to locals in every way possible. Eat at Mike's! Do it!

Great food, great pricing, nice decor and atmosphere. The dining area is small, so patience is required. All Alaskan ingredients and art by local artists!

We had a delicious breakfast here on Labor Day! The ham had a nice smokey taste and was a good quantity for me. We enjoyed the fruit that was on our plates in lieu of potatoes, since the hash browns usually go to waste! Mike’s is unusual in that the kitchen and order counter is in one building and another dining room is next door in another cottage!

Reuben done how a Reuben should be done. Packed sandwich, lots of flavor.

Ordering was weird, best to order ahead and drive up. But worth the awkward reading how to signs at the building.

Was looking for a quick bite on my way out of town and found this little gem. Called in an order and it was ready in 10 minutes. The gentleman that rang me up was super friendly and the sandwich was amazing. The prices were unbelievable for the size and quality that we got. The bread was fresh baked and the turkey looked like it was smoked and cut on site. All and all I would recommend this great little eatery to anyone and will be going back next time I'm in town with out a doubt.

Fantastic sandwiches, loaded with delicious meats (the corned beef in the Reuben is “killer” good!) and fresh veggies, on flavorful toasted breads. Well worth stopping in and grabbing a sandwich to go or dine-in for added local “flavor”. Friendly, cheerful, and efficient staff!!

Highly recommend by Lands End head Chef Chris we are here for breakfast. Wonderful presentation, great food, kind staff. My potatoes and gravy were good, and everyone was commenting on how good everything tastes.

5 star sandwiches for a great price. We got the Rueben, the Mariner, and the Roasty Toasty. All sandwiches had amazing, fresh ingredients. Definitely stop here when in Homer.

Man, I really take this place for granted. It's tucked behind some buildings and sometimes out of sight and out of mind. I'm a resident of Homer, and there just aren't a lot of REALLY amazing places in town. Maybe 2 or 3. Everything else is just good.

Today, I ordered a Jessie's Sandwich... WOW! One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. In fact, I can't remember the last time I had a sandwich that good.

I regret not coming here more, but that's about to change. It's going in my regular rotation. Just incredible.

This is my favorite place to eat in Homer! Get the Cobb salad and a grilled cheese! The salad is like 2 meals in one. I have it for lunch and for dinner when I order one!

Rediculously delicious sandwiches and salads, fresh ingredients and great value, their portions are big enough to share and bursting with flavor....You can't go wrong getting carryout from Mike's. Thank you for being open for locals in the winter months!

All of us enjoyed our lunch. Great food. The turkey sandwiches are big enough for two people to share.

Hands down the best sandwich I've eaten in Alaska bar none. I had the Jessie's add onion and avacado. When they brought it out I was surprised by the sheer weight of the sandwich. It was very large on as ng sourdough! The combination of the pesto and aoli was delightful. The chicken was tender and juicy and seasoned to perfection. For a side I had the creamy 🍅 soup, it was the second best tomato soup I've ever!
