Mariano's

I love Mariano’s. It’s like the best combination of Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. Prices are fair (and even lower than Jewel Osco) but the quality is high, and selection of products is great. Lines are not too bad even on the weekends.

Fresh products and great staff! The price is above average but it worth! They have a salad and hot food bar and also a barbecue where you can buy your meat and they will cook it for you.

Stocked up on groceries for Christmas dinner. We ended up walking in around 6pm on a Wednesday and it was not crowded at all, which was very nice. The produce was all very fresh as was the meat. I like how much selection they have in the store and it's not too far from the city. The cashier we had was nice and took care of us quickly.

Fantastic Mariano's selection and service. The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. The self checkouts are usually the quickest way to get in and out with just a few items.

I work at marianos and love the fresh environment fresh foods and of course the fresh people.....WOW I REMEMBER THESE PICTURES I TOOK WHAT AN AWESOME TIME! HAVENT BEEN BACK IN YEARS ! BUT TO KNOW I HELPED PEOPLE EAT AND BECOME FRESH WOW HAPPY NEWS YEARS AND PROSPER!

I miss working here. I regret everything that I did to cause my termination. It would've been 6 years in October if I hadn't acted like such an idiot. Thank you to all my former coworkers and managers for putting up with me for 5 in a half years. I learned a very harsh and valuable lesson. I will forever treasure the memories that I made here. I wish I could go back in time to correct my mistakes and stop myself from getting fired.

The best. Especially the meat department my favorite part of the store I always buy too much but it's all delicious. The seafood selection is phenomenal and its all fresh. Great salad and fruit bar good sushi the best orange juice you can find fresh squeezed and not bad on the price. The guacamole is out of this world good but you must get the donkey chips as your go to makes for a great pairing. I could go on and on keep it up Mariano's

Conveniently located close to my house , has everything I need, quick check out, staff are friendly. I love shopping here , the cakes are delicious and the produce fresh , the olives are amazing. They have great cheese selection

best Turkey dinner ever. The gravey was good and not salty or loaded with cornstarch like so many others. delivery was prompt and the food was hot. Definitely would order again and if opened at Thanksgiving will definitely be making reservations.

Decent produce selection and an expansive bakery and deli. Also like the gelato, smoothie, and wine bars.

Still new and clean, and appreciate the motion activated LED lighting in the frozen food section.

Staff has also been very friendly and helpful.

The store is pretty great and every worker I meet while shopping tries their best. The bakery department is my favorite department, but I do love the sushi and every other department. The manager name Chetna at the bakery department is very hard worker and tries her best to help the coustmers. Sure? the food is high price but you get the worth and great quality. My favorite food to get is ramen noodle cups and the sourdough bread in bakery department. I believe a lot of people turn down this store because they are just cranky and don’t realize how much the workers try to make the place run as great as it can. I work in a grocery store and I say this store is way better than what I work. I will always shop here at Mariano glenview east.

Great food, good service

Great store and decent selection of organics. Very friendly staff and I expected that by now this place would be "Krogerized" with crappy selections, and Kroger's low staffing model and mandatory long checkout lines. That hasn't happened yet and I couldn't be more pleased.

Go-to grocery spot for everyday goods and specialty items. Great cheese section, decent wine selection, great pre-made grab-and-go bar with hot and cold options. This location has plenty of seating to dine in. The gelato and coffee bar is nice too.

Love the salad and hot side and soup bar. They will cook any peice of meat or fish you buy there as well .. You can have a fresh hot meal for a very reasonable price ..Eat there or take to go . My meal I had a small bowl of Chili $2,corn bread $1, and an Arizona Ice Tea 50¢ .... = $3.50 You can't even beat that at a burger joint and it's much better

Good store. The only complain i have is regarding the chairs they have in the dining area. You are sitting on the plain metal and its very cold during winter. Another Mariano's that is located on Willow rd., has great chairs with soft cushion, it helps you warm up. Why don't they all have the same chairs, with cushion?

Two of my clients work at this Mariano's location, so I anticipated visiting to see what it was like. I visited to purchase a birthday cake from the bakery for a different client to celebrate his birthday. In order to make this visit less painful I tried to stay within the bakery area because I tend to get overwhelmed while visiting Mariano's which I still was even though I stayed in the bakery section.

After a debate between purchasing either a mixed container of 24 Chicago Buttercream Cupcakes, or a Chocolate Chip Cake that says 'Happy Birthday' on it, I went with a beautiful 8-inch Single Layer Red Velvet Cake that costed me only $10.99.

While in the bakery, I took notice of its Sushi bar (Oki Sushi ) ; Hot bar being $7.99 per pound; the Salad bar being $6.99 per pound, and its tasty looking foods in the Todds BBQ section. I find it easy to get sidetracked at Mariano's when not shopping with a grocery list. And I have to say that out of all the Mariano's locations that I have visited, this is the best! During this visit, I utilized the self-checkout machine during my check out which I am thankful that busy grocery stores like Mariano's have.

As for parking, parking is the last thing you have to worry about while visiting this Mariano's location, even though the lot is shared with several other businesses in its complex.

In the meantime, I am quite positive that I will return on a later date to raid its hot bar, or maybe even its Todds BBQ section to purchase lunch, but that is about it.

I think this is my favorite Mariano's and I have been to at least five in the Chicagoland area. Plenty of parking, friendly service and a fine selection of produce. Add to that prices that are lower than competing grocery chains such as Jewel. The only real opportunity I see for improvement is getting better baggers to not crush food sometimes and have a full selection of Newman's frozen dinners. They even carry Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt!
