Holiday Inn & Suites Chicago North Shore (Skokie), an IHG Hotel

Fantastically comfortable hotel. Very clean, quiet and well maintained. Instant friendly service from maintenance. Super comfy bed. And a hot tub! Very luxurious.
Only complaint is that the hotel is very hard to find!!! You need better signage.

I was nervous at first when I read all the bad comments. Maybe it just in the past. For my experience. My room was nice and clean. I don't have any problem. The pool and hot tub look nice and clean.

The stuff was nice. Easy parking. Close to highway. The location is great. They have Starbucks in front of the hotel Dunkin and McDonald close to it.

I don't have any problem when checking in and out.

But one thing that I dislike is they should include free breakfast on the price.

Holiday Inn Skokie is organized and staffed well. I am here for three nights this month for two audits in Chicago. The restaurant and bar are well appointed, free breakfast is a well stocked buffet and I look forward to it. Try it, you will like the plan.

We needed a hotel with very early check in. They accommodated us for a fee that we expected. Staff are perfectly friendly and the facility was clean. In this area, breakfasts don't often appear to be included, but parking was. Only thing that ruined the stay is that they started playing loud music at the restaurant for breakfast. The open plan interior allowed that music to echo throughout the building. I don't understand why you would want loud music at breakfast anyway. Weird. I called to complain and they shut it off ..but what were they thinking? There were license plates from all over the USA in the parking lot, so some probably traveled a long way and needed their sleep. Just a lack of consideration in my book.

This truly is one wonderful Holiday Inn that I’ve been to👍 everything from the staff to the cleanliness to the maids very wonderful staff, beautiful pool and spa. Even the bar Louie inside has great food, and the bartender makes great drinks

I wish I had noticed the name of the guy who checked us in. He exuded professionalism, giving us every detail correctly, and listening to my questions. The employees at this hotel were generally very happy, which showed in every aspect of the hotel.

Rooms are a bit pricey and the location is just suburbia near the freeway, but I'd recommend this hotel highly.

My employer hosted our annual holiday party at the location. It was simply amazing. The location, interior decor, and conference rooms are glamorous.

I have booked rooms in this hotel for over 15 yrs. The stay is always exceptional.

However today my review is about using this location as an event space.

We looked everywhere for a location that could hold 150 people and also create an ambiance of exceptionalism. The pictures of the event space do not do justice to the experience we had at our company party in this location The room was decorated...........from the beauty of the chandeliers to the decorated table..........food and servers...staff...........exceeded our expectations.

Toni, the individual who coordinates the events was wonderful. I'm not great at setting these things up.......she had the most amazing recommendations........her hard work made me look exceptional to my team.......I definitely appreciated that!

I highly recommend this location for your upcoming event. We will continue to use their help in the future

I had never traveled to the USA. and always wanted to know. When a friend told me about this hotel, I didn't think twice. it was an amazing stay. polite and hospitable staff. the stay was unforgettable. I will definitely come back.

Very very good place to stay the night or weekend. The service is friendly, and the conversation with the workers is welcome as they listen and joke with you while helping.

Not to mention the rooms are shweet! And in the morning, they don't bother you with a knock on the door expecting to leave immediately. Was a super cool feeling being able to just check out without pressure.

Lastly, I suppose the only downer was that the pool closed at 9pm. Other than that. A great place to be.

Between work and visiting family, I travel a lot (50-60 hotel nights per year). We wanted to meet up with the kids on the north side of Chicago in a hotel with a pool and hot tub to enjoy a relaxing evening and picked this hotel in Skokie. They were very flexible and let us do an early check in to unload the luggage into one room. With dinner taking longer downtown, we made it back to the hotel after the pool had closed. After hearing our story, and a promise to not be loud and annoy the other guests, Angel re-opened up the pool for our family to use. I didn't expect the hotel to be so accommodating and greatly appreciated the relaxing conversations with our family. Thanks so much Angel.
Also, the Telsa Supercharger across the street allowed me to charge the car back up for the trip home.

Hubby and I reserved a king room for the weekend, and this place did not disappoint. I promise you we felt like we were in a 5 star Inn. You feel very safe because security is on duty at all times. Check out is at noon. This place is AMAZING! There is a restaurant, bar, and when we arrived a band was warming up. We will definitely return. We absolutely loved this place. If you are in Chicago book them. Prices are very reasonable. 🙃

Love staying close to son Mike for Christmas. 2022 we visited again, a little short staffed, but isn't everyone. Great room again. 2023 found us well cared for and fully staffed.

Great experience! This is by far the best stay ever for me. We have been traveling and stayed in couple of other hotels during our move. Exceptional staff and very friendly. The room was extremely clean and comfortable except I felt the bed is little high which is fine for 10 days for me. It’s possibly the best location after downtown Chicago as everything is close by and you are few mins away from city. Very family oriented and decent crowd and lots of great restaurants, theaters nearby. There is a great restaurant, stores with in and hosts lot of fun and shopping events. We attended EID Mela which was fun. Malek was of very helpful and kind.
AGM Angel was amazing to talk to get my visit extended. 5 out of 5 to the staff and this hotel. I am extending my stay for another 8 days.

I enjoyed my stay. Rooms were clean but gym and pool were close during my stay.

Overall, I had a great experience with the Holiday Inn Skokie!! Staff was incredibly helpful, thanks to front desk lady Gina, she helped us a lot in 4 days, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, 4th floor is awesome , clean, and perfect to celebrate a birthday weekend!!

I prefer non smoking hotels as I am allergic to passive smoking. The wifi for a change was working in this hotel unlike some others in the vicinity. The room was refreshed everyday. The hotel staff was courteous especially the guy at the front desk, I think his name was Mohib. He greeted us with smile, gave us an extra room key which we asked for. Showed the way to our room and the breakfast area. I will definitely come back to stay if I am in Skookie area.
