Where have you been all of my life!!!!! This damn restaurant is amazing!!! I can't go anywhere else for seafood!!! Pricey - Yes!! Worth it - Yes Yes!! I had the Lobster Roll. I was very worried when it came out - it was a little on the small side (I'm greedy). But when I bit into it - LORDT!!! Amazing!! And it wasn't small but the lobster was packed in and the taste was so fresh and amazing. My friends had the cajun shrimp (AMAZING) and the lobster bisque (best he's ever had). Another had the catfish (best she's ever had). The portions was plentiful. I will go here again for every special occasion that happens in my life.

Best seafood in the Chicago market.
Greek Saganaki is better than Greek town.
Greek salad with seafood is fantastic.
Portions are huge. See the fried calamari shrimp combo. Large selection of fresh fish.
Wheeling location also has steaks.Nice outside area for the summer .
Keylime pie is best. Not cheap but worth it.
If you like seafood- this is the best in Chicagoland!

I think this should be a blueprint for a good, fresh seafood restaurant that is not going to break your buck. Maybe it's me visiting from NYC area where experience such as this would cost at least 2x more, but besides surprisingly low check, everything else was just amazing. Food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Servers were super attentive and ready to help us pick the dish and recommend wine. Place itself is nice as well and you can see they work good enough there's no time for the food to stay at the display too long :D I'm making this my mandatory stop when in Chicago area.

This is a top notch place that knows their fish. It's on the pricey side but you absolutely get what you're paying for. Portions are very generous and cooked properly. All very good. Made for a great night out. The only thought I had was the fries could use some work. Service was excellent but the restaurant was not crowded on a Tuesday night.

We travel to Des Plaines for business and every time we go, stopping here is a must for us! They start with garlic bread, which we could live without, but nice to have. This visit we ordered raw oysters on the half- shell. So fresh! Then this trip we tried the Boston clam chowder. Lots of clam pieces. Tasted a bit like Greek lemon soup, but still so very delicious. We then shared the octopus/calamari dinner. Again, so fresh! There are so many dinner options! Ate outside and just loved our meal! If you are near the area, this is a “ must try” place! Need to note…. Finished our meal with the BEST baklava I have ever had!

I had not been here in a while ,maybe right before the Pandemic. The food was still great, and I forgot about the generous portions. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was superb. I'll be back soon!!!! I enjoy the fried Shrimp & Calamari with fresh cut French Fries. Don't hesitate to give them a try!!!

This is by far the BEST seafood restaurant, I’ve been to in my entire life that I’ve lived in Illinois. The food tastes fantastic, the portions are plentiful, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and delightful. I was skeptical the first time I went with a friend but that is all it took for me to go back a second time, and bring my family along, who also loved it. Not only can you enjoy the food, but you can also buy the seafood from them. The parking is small but once you realize what you’re going to get inside, I did not have a problem parking on the street. You will not regret coming to eat fresh seafood here.

If you like fresh seafood, this is among the best places in Chicago, despite being off the beaten path of trendy neighborhoods. They have a wide selection of fish and seafood, prepared in Mediterranean, Cajun or British Pub styles. The grilled octopus is really good, the sea bass is amazing. The portions are huge and staff is speedy. You can eat there or take home, or even buy fresh unprepared fish to cook yourself.

Delicious food. The shucked oysters are great. Grilled calamari and octopus combo is amazing. Great selection of wines. Only issue we had was our waitress, we noticed every other table were being well taken cared off. Our waitress took about 10-15 minutes after being sat down just to give us water and the bread. We ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio and requested and ice bucket for it 3 times, we never got it. To finish it off we asked for the bill she brought it to us and disappeared. After about 20 minutes of waiting we asked another server to please charge us so we could leave, I guess Janet had better things to do.. regardless of that I would definitely go back and would highly recommend this place.

The service was outstanding. I am so sorry I do not remember our server’s name but we were in the outdoor tent at the far end on Friday night.
The food was excellent. My salmon was cooked to perfection and was a super generous portion.
I have been to the Wheeling location but honestly think I prefer this one!

Good food ,quality , freshness, big potion. But the oyster Rochelle is a bit too cooked.
The mussels white wine sauce is superb

The service was great we ordered and our food was ready very quickly. I can see why this gem 💎 is so popular. The food is freshly made moreover delicious. Lastly you will love the service. There is plenty of seating on either side of the restaurant.

OMG! if you are a seafood lover them this the RIGHT place for you. The seafood is always fresh and the portions are substantial. The same amount of food would coat two to three times as much in the City. I have been coming here for years and I still can't get enough of this place. This place is a seafood distributor as well as a restaurant so you can buy fresh seafood to take home for preparation as well. The service is great and you can BYOB with a $15 corkage fee. You can't go wrong with ANYTHING on this menu. It is top knotch!

Great fresh fish. A bit on the pricy side but well worth it - superior fresh seafood and service. Can get very crowed at times but they have a lot of seating.

Very good customer service. Good is very fresh. Big plates of any kind of food. Owner is walking around making sure that everything looks good and he stops by at your table asking if everything is ok. Employees seem to be very happy and very polite. Wine menu is also great. I got a Salmon dish’s with veggies and it was very delicious!!!

If you're a foodie then you have to try this place. The fish is fresh, fresh and the Mediterranean rice is delicious. Try a fisherman's platter or the giant shrimp on skewers you will not be disappointed. Beer is available and the staff is very friendly.
