Exactly how I remember this place after more than a decade away. Affordable Redbird apparel and tons of options. Friendly staff who fold shirts so neatly that I didn't want to unfold them when I got home!

I've always loved coming to this place from the moment my mom and I first visited the store during my Illinois State Preview day, and I think the owner is doing the right thing by putting his foot down to those who oppose wearing masks or getting vaccinated. Being a storeowner means that your #1 concern is for the health of the patrons that enter and leave your establishment, and what he is currently doing showcases that awareness and concern for his own guests. If you have a problem...there's the door.

The owner and staff are progressive, inclusive, and so friendly. I felt very welcome shopping there and appreciated the energy in the store. I also really like that I see the owner and staff promoting equality, access, and fairness when they post about social issues locally and beyond. Thanks for being a fabulous business where I can get everything I need!

Really like the atmosphere. I can shop without worrying about others not masking improperly. I don't find that many stores are as diligent, and it really takes the stress away while shopping. I think I need to buy some extra stuff just because I appreciate that he is protecting his staff's health and customers' too.

Most of the negative reviews are directly in relation to people refusing to wear masks or abide by the stores rules. Whiney adults throwing tantrums that cannot even follow a simple rule laid out by a store owner.

If the fact that a bunch of anti-maskers are review-bombing due to the owners policy that you should wear a mask in his store, that should tell you all you need to know about the crazies in this town. Great apparel and prices, have actually shopped there and will continue to do so.

Campus town has been around as long as I can remember. I’ve always very much enjoyed shopping there while downtown lol I mean uptown! That’s how long I’ve been going there since uptown was downtown. Here is a business that clearly cares about the community. They hire locally, produce locally and have been employing students for years. I have been there many times, and am privileged to support a local business. Anyone who doesn't want to shop here only makes it known because they are indifferent to supporting local business, and would rather assert their 'Right' to cough all over anyone within earshot. I have lived in Normal for 28 years, and will be damned if we loose such a great institution to the indifference of these tone deaf yokels.

They always have such a great selection and the management and workers have been so kind. I also really appreciate their looking out for the good of the community by requiring masks since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. I will certainly continue to shop here and send all of my friends and family there, too!

I love this store. I also respect the owner for trying to protect everyone that comes into his store. He has a right to inform people of wearing a mask incorrectly. If you don’t like it then go somewhere else :)

Ignore the antimaskers trying to leave bad reviews. Campustown has great products at AMAZING prices for college gear. I work at a different college campus and wish we had a store like campus town for our college. Extra points for making sure their shoppers are safe during this pandemic

As the staff and manager taking the coronavirus pandemic so seriously and enforcing masks. As a townie I understand out state and city are on the verge of another lockdown. So seeing a place close to home that requires masks and enforces it harshly is refreshing. Love this store

I simply enjoy Campus Town… I’m currently dealing with reinventing self, and I get much satisfaction from the positive and supportive merchandise. Every time I leave I leave with a hidden gem❤
The Owner is someone that does not sugar coat or waste time but he is one of the nicest people you could sit and talk with. Dan is very nice and cares about the safety of his customers and staff. ❤

The only reason you are seeing 1-star reviews is because a bunch of anti-vax right wing crazies don't like that the store owner is advocating for people getting the Covid vaccine. This place is fine.

The best ISU apparel store in the area. I have been in this store numerous times…they have the best selection and price for anything ISU related!! Clean, well organized, and lots of improvements in the store inside and out. I’ve orders items from their Etsy store and apparel arrived quickly and the quality of the apparel and printing was excellent. Will definitely purchase from this store again.

After going to this store and seeing that they are making sure that everyone is wearing their masks properly was very promising. It was just refreshing after going to many different stores in the area where people had their masks below their chin was just a "breath of fresh air".

The owner values health and public safety and mandated masks for his store before the state mandate was back in effect! Kudos to this store for doing their due diligence in protecting their employees and customers.

I am disappointed to read the negative reviews about Dan 😥He did a very good deed for a community member in need yesterday. I really appreciate him. My heart is touched and I loved what was donated for a great cause. This will forever be a memory of ours!

Went here many times while a student at ISU. Love seeing a business care about the community and do what they can to help keep everyone safe and healthy. Phenomenal place!
