Kemp's Upper Tap

Stopped here for dinner while passing through the area. Typical bar atmosphere with very nice employees. We were seated right away. After you choose your order you will need to go to the bar and order be pay for it. It will be brought to your table once done. There is no table service though. The burgers we got were super delicious and juicy. Can substitute the side for whichever one you want from the appetizer menu in whole or half. Cooks were super fast and I have to say I was amazed at how clean the kitchen and exhaust hood were. Amazing place!

Stopper here for the first time for myself and my girlfriend recommended it. She was so very right the tater tot nachos we delicious and the burger was one of the best I've ever had

Cool place, you have to order food and beer at counter, but that's all apart of the experience. Fun times.

Awesome place, top notch beer selection, great food and service. Popular with the locals, big lunch crowd on the weekend. They really do a great job representing local breweries and a wide variety of craft beer. Nachos with carnitas were excellent, great specials too. Will make this a regular stop off of I-55 from now on.

Can't say enough about the amazing people here! They make it such a great experience and are so helpful with choosing from their huge list of rotating unique beers. Food is spectacular and if you can catch the Saturday brunch special "The Cure" you will never be disappointed! Also keep an eye out for their live music and Oktoberfest, they are so much

Local, fun, and inviting! The beer selection is just as fun! Krispy Creme burgers! Not my fav but you do have to try it. (I'm on a diet). It's worth the short drive from Bloomington/Normal.

Definitely give this place a shot if you’re in the area. I was visiting town and definitely had to stop by Kemp’s. There was a chicken wrap on special that was delicious and the chili was perfect for a chilly day. I’ve always loved the beer selection, but now they also have a couple frozen cocktail options. The agave margarita was soo good! Fast, friendly and personable service, as well. Do it.

Nice small town local bar. Around 20 different brews on tap and many from local breweries. Something for every taste. Food is also very good here with many options.

In the begining there was corn and a field, now there's a LOT going on in Downtown Sexy Lexy and Kemp's is in the middle of it all! They have crazy good food, nothing on the menu will be average, lots of beers on tap, 20 I believe, and many more rarities in the fridge. Believe me, no matter who your team is they have a flag hanging and a soccer friendly bar as well! Parking never a problem, and the prices are very fair!

This place is one of my favorite places to grab a beer and burger. Great service, games on tv, and most importantly, awesome food!

One of our "go to" spots. John and his crew are awesome. The food and service is always great - and there's something new to spice up the menu frequently. Daily specials are a sure thing. If you like a wide variety of good craft beers - this is the place. It's well worth the drive.

Great selection of craft beers on tap. Some hard cider and seltzers, too. Lots of tables indoors and outdoor patio.

Best bar ever. First, they have the best food, cooked by local chefs.

Menu could be categorized as bar food, but quality is well above that standard. We no longer drink adult beverages so we did not sample the large selection of craft beers on tap. This is a place where you will feel like a friend on your first visit.
