Highly recommend the tide pools, more relaxing. Pier area has to many pot smokers & homeless.

Awesome cute little store with so many healthy choices! Prices of Fruits and vegetables are similar to those of Sprouts. Bulk products are a bit more expensive but I think it’s because they are organic. Definitely a good market if you live or are near the area. I am a little further out so not sure if I will be back that often.

Love this place. I used to go at least once a week when I lived in OB. Delicious vegan deli, ad very nice people who work there...great produce...vast selection of herbal supplements and also bulk goods. I wish there was another People's in East County area

Best natural foods market I've ever visited. We've been members for more than three decades. Go upstairs and get something at the deli, or a cup of coffee and muffin. Superb vibe, excellent variety of choices. If you want meat, go elsewhere; we don't need it. This is my favorite grocery store in California.

I like this place because they usually have the things that other places don't carry or sell out of. The people are always friendly and very helpful. Their organic fruit selection is the best. We make going here apart of our weekly routine

A very nice surprise visit with uncle Warren (thank you,)👍which enlightend us with a tasty pineapple Pizza that made my wife putty in my hands 🤣 ok, she loved it almost as much as I enjoyed the multi berry 🥧 pie, which I should have bought a few to go🥰 And the Nada moo😍 I couldn't stop I ate them all 😂 it was Wonderful treat 😋 thanks ✌

A beautiful place for delicious vegan cuisine, excellent tea and nutrient selection with highly educated staff. ENT excepted. Organic produce. Clean bathrooms.

Great place for produce, vitamins and yummy good for you food. Love that it's a co-op. The people are so friendly and helpful.

Absolutely loved the Vegan deli foods here! I had the kale and beet salad, Caesar salad, BBQ Tofu, chili potatoes, broccoli, and a pizza. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Great selection of organic stuff. Pretty reasonably priced on most things too. Always love to stop by when I'm in the area.

Always good for things i need like biocompatible laundry soap so my gray water system encourages plant growth. Delicious deli items too

LOVE my little neighborhood co op. Worth every pricey penny to shop here for their delicious goodies.

Never a bad experience. A little pricey, but everything’s expensive these days. It’s nice to have a place in the neighborhood where you can get clean, fair trade, and organic everything. I belong to the Co Op. If you’re health conscious, vegan, or vegetarian and live in the neighborhood, pay the $15 a year to get all the perks. The people who work there are always very nice and helpful. They don’t sell any meat products, so there’s no nasty fish smell or loads of death for sale like other stores. My husband loves the vegan baked goods they make there. I love the deli as well. You can request a sample of the food, so you don’t buy something you don’t like. The only place in town you can get ready-to-go healthy vegan meals and have a fresh cold pressed juice, with a dessert, while you shop for groceries. 🖤

Lovely local CO-OP been around since forever. Nice selection of organic and natural products, all organic produce, excellent cafe upstairs (reasonably priced, too). $15 for a one year membership gets you discounts on all products and a warm glow from supporting an ethical community institution.

Always fresh produce and great plant based foods! And you can never beat the vibe! You just feel healthier being there. I love that they don’t sell meat there. I don’t need to see it or smell it :)

This place blew me away. I got the tempeh breakfast sandwich at the deli and it was amazing, a very reasonable price too. The staff was very friendly and the grocery section was very well stocked! Easy parking in their parking lot.

I love this co-op! Excellent vegetarian food, and you can eat it out on an adorable little upstairs patio. The people are friendly, and the vibe here is excellent. I felt very welcome!

I've been shopping at people's since 1998 and will always come here for certain foods. Great selection of bulk goods, even has their own fresh peanut butter press and you may refill your Mason jars! The deli has a great salad bar, sometimes some great hot meals, but other time's they only offer bland slops.. the overall prices are high, but worth it with the quality
