I love shopping here, wonderful variety of books, games, toys, & gifts. Walking through the tables of sumptuous book covers feels like choosing pastries at a delightful bakery. The staff are helpful & make great suggestions. I really miss the café though, hope a new one moves in soon, I would hang out longer.

Excellent shopping experience again. Clerk determined via the inventory management system that some titles by Ehrenreich weren't available but that's okay. Found three books I had on my list...

My favorite book store. I come here as often as I can. Great selection of books. Not just in Encinitas. But every city. From Huntington Beach to Temecula. I go to one in Oceanside most often.
The one in Encinitas no longer has a Starbucks inside. Yes. I was disappointed too. The one in Oceanside does.

Always a nice location for quiet time, but I was here for a book signing, always walking into a barnes & noble

My wife and I were baby book shopping here. We finally entered the kid's section in the back; surreal new parent moment! Great selection of books, prices were reasonable, solid display choices (including matching stuffed animals to go with some of the books, always cool). We were able to get new books and exchange a duplicate book in the same transaction. The bathroom signage isn't great; it's in the back right corner if you're looking at the front of the store from the outside. Will go again!

This is a nice spot for a Barnes and Noble since you can grab lunch next door and have a coffee here to read or buy books. Clean, and safe

In addition to being my absolute favorite store, this Barnes and Noble is superior. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the store is always clean, and the staff is very helpful! I always have a great experience if I'm browsing or buying. I love the new law outs and it was great to see an author promoting their new book!

I have a true affinity for reading magazines, especially at Barnes &Noble.

This particular Barnes & Noble has a huge section of manga! My friend and I happened to be in the area and were super thrilled to see such a diverse collection of titles to choose from - especially compared to other B&Ns. Specifically, there’s a much larger amount of LGBT+ / BL titles available. It was great to see a vast amount of series with each volume available. Super happy!

Larger than most other locations! Super helpful and attentive staff.

Good, comprehensive selections at this bookstore. Comfortable chairs and no one pressures you to buy or move on. There's a music section and a children books section. Benches for browsing near the magazines. There's also a Starbucks adjoining. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

I love going to Barnes and Nobles especially in Encinitas they always have the mangas I’m looking for and the K-pop albums please keep them in stock!!! There staff are always very kind and helpful they also have card games and funko pops there sometimes!!!

Employees are helpful if you are looking for a specific book or author. They are also friendly, making suggestions about similar items or books they love. They have a great toy section, also learning games for kids. And adults. I can spend hours just browsing.
