I wasn’t even trying to go here, but the exterior caught my attention and I had to stop. This is absolutely a place I would purchase gifts for friends or family. So many unique and beautiful things. You can find something for anyone. This is a place I would visit with intention, without a plan it’s easy to get distracted by all the really cool stuff you’ll want to buy for yourself.

Absolutely LOVED this shop. I took so many laps around the store and kept finding more things to buy! Cannot say enough good things about the staff, their selection, and the space itself.

I ordered some things online and it was shipped quickly and well. I got my things within the week and a little thank you note on the reciept! And the stuff is so cool!! Will definitely shop online again.

I LOVE BENCH PRESSED. The store is beautifully curated, authentic, and very reasonably priced. This place is way, way better than the national chain that rhymes with "Vapor Horse". I hunted for some washi tape and this place did not disappoint. I also picked up some Le Pen pens and a sticker that says "Support Your Local Print Shop." Their cards are awesome and funny and they have tiny cards that come with their own cute little envelopes. The store owners are sweet and funny. I told them I will be back and I am recommending this place to everyone.

Bench Pressed is one of those places you leave feeling better about your day/yourself/the world. The products in the shop are well curated, you can truly find something for anyone here. The card section is elite. They have cards for every occasion from birthdays to holidays, and even unique cards for special events like celebrating sobriety. The pop-up events at this store really help create community and promote other local business. Lastly, the owners and staff are truly a pleasure to talk to every time you’re in. Can’t say enough good about this gem of a spot. If you’re thinking about stopping in, do it.

An awesome locally owned gift shop in Minneapolis. Cards are their originals and other gift items are all well-curated so you will something for everyone for any occasions. It's so wonderful to have a shop like this in our downtown neighborhood!

I truly love this place! I'm their biggest fan from out-of-state. They have a great selection of greeting cards, which is what initially drew me in. I travel a lot and visit greeting card stores in every city I visit, and this is the only store that makes & carries Eid cards for Islamic holidays. That's so special and worth mentioning because it is an example of the inclusive environment fostered in the store.

In addition to greeting cards, they carry lots of fun gifts - from food items like Palestinian olive oil (!!!!!!!), spicy chili condiments, and amazing chocolate, to self-care/pampering items like shower steamers, nail art stickers, and statement apparel. I was last there on 12/23 and the store was hosting pop-up shops for two other local businesses. The way this business is run - with inclusion & care at the forefront - keeps me coming back.

Benchpressed opening a retail store is one of the best things to happen ever! The selection is amazing (from decor to accessories to food items and beyond) and I have found many perfect gifts there. Not only this but their weekend pop-ups with other local artists and vendors is such an add! Highly encourage you to visit ASAP!
