I have been coming to berger for several years now and each time i come in the employees are extremely kind and helpful. They have always been available for me to ask questions and help order any supplies I need. They also have parking behind their building and in north park thats a plus.

Berger Hardware is beyond the beyonds of amazing and Kathy (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) is the kindest, most patient, incredibly well-informed, and thoughtful person you could ever hope to help you. (Her father was a doormaker and she has worked in the industry for over 20 years, which is pretty amazing and, of course, contributes to her incredible knowledge base.) :)

My current projects are small so they aren't very lucrative, yet Kathy gave me the time and attention a lot of companies would reserve for a VIP design client. She is also truly an incredible wealth of information and shared things to consider that I hadn't thought of. She even asked to see a photo of the door and asked what kind of wood it is, the time period of the home, etc., when helping me select an entry doorknob set. Amazing!

Berger Hardware is in the process of relocating to Encinitas (which will be their new home as of 2023). I will continue to shop there and recommend Berger Hardware and Kathy. It will be more than worth the trek from San Diego to Encinitas for Kathy's expertise and Berger's extensive array of quality products.

Awesome company! They supply all the top quality brands of hardware. Their long history places them in a category all by themselves in San Diego. Can't say enough about their great service.

Love Berger, have bought many products from them over the years including hardware for windows and doors, medicine cabinets, lighted mirrors, ceasarstone countertop, and more.

Not only do they carry great products but their friendly and knowledgeable service is the best I have found in this or pretty much any other business. They go out of their way to help you including even fixing hardware that I have messed up and for free!!

I'm a commercial customer. I can be demanding - some may say difficult. I demand a level of service that many companies just can't handle. I used to take all of my business to that big hardware store that is synonymous with San Diego.

For the last couple months, I've shifted all of my hardware business to Berger. They might not have all of the flashy displays like that other store has, but when it comes to honest, friendly service, the folks at Berger can't be beat. I'm much happier as a Berger Hardware customer, and will refer my client base as well.

Great store for Door Hardware- apartment, home or high end.

There's a reason these guys have been around for over 100 years. They have a huge selection of decorative finishes and hardware. But in addition, they treat customers great and actually get to know you. I heard they recently started offering cabinets as well. If you're remodeling look here before youre done

Best place in town for door hardware. My orders are always correct! Parking in the alley is a big plus.

Definitely check them out for pulls, door handles, and a selection of vinyl flooring.
