Hen House

I absolutely love this market. The checkers know everyone by name, and I've never met anyone on staff who wasn't cheery and helpful. It feels like stepping into a small town market even though you're in the middle of a large city. Two thumbs way up.

PS - has anyone else noticed that this store looks eerily similar to the one in Michael Bublé's "Just Haven't Met You Yet" music video?

I've loved this place since I was a kid! Since it's not a huge shop, it's easy to get in and out quickly. You can also get a nice selection of local goods. They may not have exactly everything on your shopping list, but you may also be surprised by the selection. Love it!

If you're struggling to find parking, the lot by the flower shop usually has tons of spots, and it's all quite close.

A perfect small grocery store that has everything from fresh produce/meat, bakery, ready to eat, salad bar, small pharmacy and floral arrangement! They have variety of good cheese, dips, veggies trays and others for cocktail hours at home!!

I love the fact that I can go in and grab all things I need within 10 mins since this place has all essential needs and I do not need to walk much to get what I need in late evenings. (Call it laziness 😂)

Balls hen house is fantastic. I ran in to get a cup of coffee. They have Danny O'Neils Roasterie Coffee. That in itself is cause for celebration. The choices of items in the deli is awesome. This Hen House is tucked away in this beautiful shopping district. Its not a huge box store. In fact if you didn't know exactly where its at you would miss it. This is a full fledged grocery store with pharmacy, deli, meat and seafood departments. Highly, highly recommended.

I'd forgotten this hen house location as I'd moved away. Liking the store and grateful they have humans as cashiers!

This is a much smaller and more manageable grocery, handy for anyone and especially for the elderly. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

Its a good grocery store. It can be expensive but not all the time, especially if its on sale with rewards card. if youre ever needing cheap drinks they may have some on sale, especially sports drinks.

A little on the costly side, but Hen House does a great job of keeping their product in stock and retaining employees. If you go there consistently you’ll be on a first name basis with at least one person sooner or later. What more can you ask for!

First time to the hen house brand stores. Very clean. Selection of fresh produce was amazing. Live the butcher and deli counters. Also grab salad, soup and olive bar. Great store

Hen House PV is my go to grocery store. Easy to get in and out, ample parking. The staff is the best. Big ups to Joe the Butcher and Monica at checkout who is always a bright, bubbly ray of beautiful sunshine guaranteed to brighten your day.

They always take time to here me out, even if they are sceptical of what I'm saying. I done done like noise on my car, but they always here it when they drive it and can tell me if it's something to worry about or not. Thanks for the service.

Great neighborhood grocery store! Offers a little bit of everything including a great salad bar, bakery, pharmacy, meat department and kitchen. They even offer sushi! Plus all of the normal things you need with a grocery store.

Wonderful staff throughout the store and absolutely love the pharmacy at this location! You get perks ($) to use in the grocery store based on number of prescripts filled and this is an added VALUE for using this pharmacy!

I stopped in quickly to pick up balloons and a birthday card. Great service from the gentleman at the floral counter. He even bagged the balloons to protect them from the rain.

Easy to get to. Had no parking problems. A smaller store, but they are the only store that carries my favorite cheese.

You pay a little bit more but it is worth it. The staff is so helpful, and even though they are smaller than some stores they always have what I'm looking for.
