Front Range Cafe - Waldo / Brookside

Very cute and cozy coffee shop! Gives off Colorado cabin vibes. Plenty of seating available however they can get pretty busy-so don’t be surprised if you don’t end up finding a seat. Free WiFi and street parking available. Staff isn’t the friendliest. Prices are on the higher end. I paid $7 for a regular vanilla latte and that’s with no substitutes like almond milk, oat milk etc etc. I would recommend just be aware that you might be paying a little extra for coffee versus other locations.

Such a lovely little Cafe, their pastries are delectable and their coffee delish. Every one was so sweet and friendly A perfect place to have a small get together with a friend. 🙂💖

My husband and I stopped in for a afternoon coffee and snack. This was the place for that. They were helpful and nice. This shop has a lot to offer, coffee, treats, ice cream, and alcohol beverages on the other side. This place was awesome. The lattes and treats were very delicious. We really enjoyed our visit. And the prices are about what you expect nowadays.

Front Range is a park, adventure, and nature themed coffee shop & cafe in the Brookside area of KC. Not only can you order coffee, but you can also enjoy pastries, breakfast biscuits, waffles, breakfast croissants and more. There is also a mini KC gift shop where you can buy the cutest KC themed items as gifts/presents or simply decorations for your own home. There is even a little bar area in the back where you can purchase adult beverages.
There are booths, tables, and comfy couches/seats to sip on your coffee or work remote.
The coffee is tasty, the environment is fun & different, and the service is great. Highly recommend Front Range if you are looking for your next coffee shop to visit in KC!

They also have a pretty large assortment of pastries and ice cream if you're into that sort of thing 🙂 Always come here after my massage (Lifestyle Massage is around the corner). Kudos!

Not a native to KC but was in town and popped in for a quick bite and a cup of joe and was pleasantly pleased with how much I felt at home! The staff welcomed me warmly and delightfully, and even struck up meaningful conversation as if I had been a regular for many years. Space is great, people are great, coffee is great. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Great coffee & treats! Cozy atmosphere and lots of seating. Also have a full on changing table/dresser in the bathroom that makes it really convenient for mom/baby coffee dates :) Thank you for having this!! Peppermint cold foam cold brew is delish.

Delicious coffee house in Waldo. A bit pricey, but all coffee is pricey nowadays. Ice cream, near KC-focused gift shop, Parisi food items and all types of drinks. Neat ambiance, cow hides and dark leather seats. Their Lavender Macha Latte tastes like cereal milk with matcha on the back-end. Strange but good!

The atmosphere is cozy, all of the food and drinks are delicious and the staff are always friendly and inviting. It’s also worth mentioning that they have a full bar in the back room, and they also serve ice cream! What’s not to love?

A nice quiet coffee and pub cafe. Service is wonderful and they've always got something good on tap for me to try. It reminds of an old coffee shop I used to frequent in Lawrence to get some studying done.

Came here to “work from home” when my wifi was out. Comfortable seating options (so important for spending more than an hour somehwere!!!), great vibe, tons of space, plugs available, great wifi, food options for lunch and breakfast, and parking was easy. I’ll definitely be back!

Pistachio honey latte was A+! Breakfast burrito even better! Very cool vibe and committed to local everything — check it out when you’re in KC!

One of my favorite local shops! Great coffee and atmosphere. The staff is always friendly. Getting coffee there makes me feel like I'm hanging out in a cozy cabin in the mountains.

Love this spot. We hit both locations on a recent visit. Has a old school coffee house feel. The bar is a little bright for my taste.

Great location, convenient street parking, walking distance friendly, need more smiles, seems to have loyal local work from home clients and looking forward to visit the bar area.

Great coffee and place to get some work done.

First of all the people that work here are an absolute delight, super nice and welcoming.
The coffee (oat milk dirty chai in my case) is delicious and they will make it extra hot without looking at you like you're a disappointment of a person (Shout out to 2nd best coffee) ☺☺☺(I drink fast and if my coffee gets cold I will not finish it)..
The food (Vegan burrito and a glazed jam donut) was really good, like a Vegan burrito.... Who'da thunk it?
They have super cool stickers next to the cash register that lasted on my water bottle through many many dishwasher cycles ☺☺☺
They also have a full bar and cool KC pride stuff (Go KC!)
Do yourself a favor and stop by for a coffee, a baked good and the nicest welcoming attitude ☺☺☺

This place was so unique and fun :-) interior but cozy. Love that you can do coffee or drinks here and it stays open late so you don't have to cut your evening short. There's also a small outdoor dining area how you can stay even after normal business hours.
