Everything we ordered was amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more. I got the New Yorker sandwich with corn beef hash added. I feel like it should be mandatory, it was so freaking delicious. The chicken strips were crisp and juicy. My wife got a cheese burger with an egg, and it was soooo good. We found our new favorite spot.

Smith & Clarkson’s is a no frills classic all-American cafe tucked away in Burke Commons plaza. If you’re not careful you’ll miss it, but then you would’ve missed an opportunity of a service I received picking up my food, I’ll definitely dine in next time. The breakfast burrito was loaded with sausage, bacon, eggs, and cheese. The bologna, egg and cheese sandwich took me back to the 80s, and the hash brown quite possibly is better than MCDs. The waffles are cooked to perfection and pares perfectly with the chicken tenders. How can you diet when there’s places like this in N. Va? LOL!

I love this place. It's convenient, right next to Walmart. This is one local place I support consistently. I love the sweet honey mustard sauce they mix themselves and I always get extra. The variety is a bit odd for a deli. They have the expected sandwiches and then there's options like firecracker chicken or chicken and waffles. Both delicious, though I always wants more rice when I get the firecracker chicken. The chicken strips, while still delicious, have a habit of separating. The fried part doesn't always stick to the chicken for some reason. Staff seems friendly and accommodating.
More recently family tried veggie stir fry, bulgogi, Greek chicken wrap, a burger, onion rings, and sweet chili lime chicken. Overall good, the Greek chicken wasn't my taste, but no complaints for anything else. Service was on the slow side...and we were the only ones there. Generally I get take out, but think service has been fine when I've dined in.
Takeaway: a great local place with variety, order through the website or in person, ordering through third party services can cost more

The food is cooked to order and usually takes 15-25 minutes to come out. TOTALLY worth the wait. These are the best Belgium waffles I have ever had!! So yummy! Everything I have had here has been delicious!

I'm back in the DC area but this was a great breakfast I had and the the service was great. The Chicken and Waffle were amazing

Everything I have tried from here has been great. The sandwiches are superb. The fries travel well and are still crispy by the time I get home. The staff is nice and the restaurant is clean.

My husband and I had breakfast to go this morning and loved it! I got the veggie omelette with potatoes, and my husband got the combo with a waffle, eggs, sausage, and hashbrown. We got toast with our meals but were too full, so we will save it. We also both got the coffee, which tastes good!
Update- we have had lunch there delivered, too, and we loved it. We both got Chicken Philly’s, and it was amazing!
We also ordered the AM Sub with bacon, and we loved it! I added avocado and tomato to it, and it was so good.

Their grilled cheese sandwich is angel touched from heaven, I can’t Stop ordering. But boyfriend tried everything is delicious from this place. Thank you so much for feeding us

A hidden gem! This place was so cute and the food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and the turkey club! The staff was very friendly, I will definitely be going back!

As soon as you open the door the delightful smell of fresh baked bread and tasty treats will grab you. Everything is made fresh on the premises, and it is as visually inviting as it is stimulating to your senses.

From delicious samples to the wonderful employees, this place is truly exceptional. The young lady who so graciously assembled my sandwich had a smile that could light up a room.

I had the Mediterranean Sandwich on classic white, did I mention the bread was fresh baked. The sandwich was a delight and my palette has yet to recover.

I encourage anyone who is looking for an alternative to fast food to try Smith & Clarkson Deli, you will not be disappointed.

Great breakfast but hands down the BEST sandwiches in the area. If you like your sandwiches full and fresh, this is the place to go! Highly recommended the different menu items but you can customize as well!!

Excellent cheese steak. This deli surprised me. The sandwich was great. Fresh bread, good size, very fresh lettuce, super clean, super nice attendants and right price

This is the best dining experience I've ever had. The cafe is SO cute and cozy, we came around brunch and ordered 2 delicious melts. The owner was so lovely, I felt like I was in a completely safe environment away from the typical hustle and bustle of Fairfax that is totally rare to find. If you're the type of person to get a little overwhelmed by fast-paced environments like me, this is the place for you. I can't recommend it enough and I will be going as often as I can!!

The food was so delicious. I went for lunch midweek. It seemed a lot of people take out here but there is plenty of room to sit. I was very impressed by the food and I can't wait to go back!

Local hidden gem. Everything here is made top quality. Traditional breakfast and lunch fare plus some Korean dishes.

Wow.... this is the first time eating here and all I can say is wow!!! I ordered the big mouth and it reminded me of home. I will definitely be back!!
