Super amazing !!! Absolutely the best food at any grocery store. I was so impressed. One of the employees named Myra. Not only was she really beautiful but she went above. And beyond the call of duty without me even asking her to. Truly amazing employee. If I were the boss. I would give Myra a raise for being so awesome !!!

Easy, convenient, fresh food without the high prices (use a Randall's card for discounts). Walked in and grabbed some steaks for Superbowl Sunday. Wow! Amazing price on USDA Select T-bones, $5.99 a lb, great! Walked through the store for additional items, couldn't find an item, so asked the manager. He was really happy to help, stopped what he was doing, walked me to the isle. Cool, thanks for being there for me. Checked out, cashier bagged my items, surprised again. Walked out of the store and the deli guy was promoting ribs, ask me if I would some, um.., YES! Ribs where on point, deli guy explained how he prepared the ribs, I'm definitely coming back to buy some. Happy customer!
Updating the entire store! In progress now.

This was my first time shopping at this particular Randall's...IT WON'T BE THE LAST!
This store is smaller than the other Randall's in town but has better quality produce. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just a nice place to shop.
Like ALL RANDALL'S YOU NEED TO STICK TO THE SALES ITEMS as everything else is more expensive than HEB.

Wow, this is the spirit of customer service. Great people who really enjoy helping you. I came here from a big local chain which keeps failing to provide mobility for disabled customers. The motorized carts stop moving and strand you, if there are any in the charging area to begin with. A fellow disabled person also had to leave, as neither of the carts there would run. He said the technology is old, they're some kind of car battery that's old tech, runs down quickly and has to be replaced often for a lot of money. He'd noticed this skimping on the disabled was spreading in grocery stores locally.

Yup. We've all become familiar with skimping, like pound cans shrinking to 14.5 ounces. I Googled "grocery stores near me", walked out of my used-to-be favorite, drove to the. Balcones Randalls.

Immediately a man cheerfully got me a charged motor cart near the door, checked it and pulled it up next to me. Clean, cold a/c, quiet, compact,. Lots of quality ready to eat. On a human scale -- compact, as our neighborhood grocery stores were before huge corporations took over. Like family farms being bought out, every industry seems to be driving out the human-scale in favor of centralizing.

There are some house brands and "loss leader" products cheaper at the old place, but everything I needed was at Randalls. Every trip here - just as nice, charged cart handy. Smaller store is quicker to go through. They amped up the deli and bakery items, SO tempting. I stick to DIY like frozen blueberries (surprisingly good in salads, oatmeal, fruit juice + wine drink).

Used to add ginger ale to dark red wine to smooth over that tannic edge. Then read health effects of carbonated drinks with high fructose corn syrup. Pineapple juice for sweet & tropical, pomegranate and tart cherry for - just Google it. Blueberry juice I make by simmering frozen blueberries in twice as much water. You still have the berries for smoothies or cereal & now you also have great unsweetened blueberry juice. Check out the cost for a bottle of it - DIY it's free and you still have the whole fruit for smoothies or cereal. You can mix your fruit juices, freeze in ice cube trays to drop into your spritzer or some totally other drink like lemonade. Play with your food, it's fun.

A rare deal on lentils at $1 a pound in the two pound bag, barley in bag worth buying too - mix of legumes like beans, peas, lentils with grains makes close to complete protein, and both have great nutrients you can look up online. If you cook lentils with a lot of flavors added, while simmering barley with Better Than Bouillon stock (the mushroom one is good for doing vegan) and double the water they say. That liquid is good added to anything while you make a soup. I keep mix of lentils and barley, quick and easy base for a meal. Add olive oil and good vinegar, chopped sauteed onions, for something like hummus. And I keep a jar handy with mix of raw walnut pieces, pumpkin seed, sunflower 🌻 seed, blanched slivered almonds. Throw a handful into couple meals a day.

If you crave ham while cutting saturated fat, nitrates, salt (and costs!) add a little molasses, smoke essence, sauteed onions & maybe some chunks of ham or what you like. I use chicken thigh I've already braised, it's like ham and bean soup.

Instead of the same boring processed ramen, fried potatoes, tortillas, white bread. More fun and more health, which your future self will thank you for.

My neighborhood store for 29 years. The nicest people who greet you by name. Nice, clean store with a growing organic produce section and a big line of their own organic products. Also has a decent selection of gluten-free products for some with Celiac Disease. I recommend shopping here.

If you hate the weekend grocery crowd, this Randalls is a hidden gem. Very few people on a saturday afternoon, excellent deals. The interior feels a little dated, but you have everything you need.

The front end workers and managers of this Randall’s have been exceptionally kind and patient with my husband for over a year. He has early-stage Alzheimer’s and walks to the grocery most days. Often he comes home and says someone took the time to show him where an unusual item could be found. Thank you, thank you for making this outing a pleasant experience.

The customer service today was the best experience I have had in a very long time thanks to Michael, who kindly helped me unload the bags in my car. When I originally came, my plan was to just get a few items so I really appreciate that he generously offered to help me with the heavy bags. I hope Michael and his manager see this review so they know how grateful I was to have such a personable, polite and positive experience!

The customer service is always amazing. I prefer this Randall's I er my own HEB and that speaks volumes. Lately they've had some pretty good coupons so I'm all for that! They're the best!

Nice employees! Great job keeping the place clean and being nice to customers.

Are you making a living wage? Do you have healthcare? Can you get time off to spend with your families?

Randall's charges enough for you to be doing well. I hope you are.

One of my favs in all of Austin's Randall's grocery chains, not to mention their HEB competitors because they have one of the best butcher, deli and produce shops. And just look for the many lower priced specials in each department, but avoid most of the other stocked products in the store that are overpriced compared to HEB. But then again, HEB can be overpriced in some products compared to Randall's! So do your due diligence when marketing and shop both stores for the greatest savings!!

I came to get my covid vaccine and loved the service. There was a waiting room with a tv for me to relax in before i got my shot. And the pharmacist was very informative about the vaccine and did her best to make it quick and painless. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Great service!

The staff here were super friendly. They helped put purchases in bags and made it a point of asking how my day went. Eventhough they wore masks, I still felt their smile.

I didn't understand their direction system though, a little confusing. The store taped a crosses, arrow sign and turn left or right signs on the floor but if one follows the arrows, one would not be able to get to the vegetable section from the bread section.

It's a one direction system and many customers also don't follow it.

Great soups and prepped dinners. Being a card member brings prices way down. Small store less walking less time in and out. Still best rotisserie chicken! Pharmacy rocks here!!!
