Josey Records

We were here for Record Store Day on Black Friday 2023. Staff was courteous and charming, store is well kept and organized. How did I not know there was more than one Josey Records … sooner?

First visit and very impressed by their selection. Nice clean place. Good place to find classic rock albums. I did notice they had a good selection for other types of music, too. This is a good-sized store compared to a few I've visited near the area.

Absolutely my favorite record store, I probably go here at least once a week. Excellent selection of new and old records yet everything is organized neatly, making it much more digestible compared to the larger Josey store. The size is perfect to spend an afternoon browsing or if you're looking to just pop in for a second. Workers are friendly, the music they play is groovy, and one time they even gave out a 20% off discount code over the radio in the store that I have used incessantly. Compared to other record stores in Dallas, the prices here are much more reasonable and you really feel like you got a score when you come across a record you want for an affordable price. I hope they never close!

Great music store with a large vinyl selection. All of the vinyl I have purchased has been scratch/ scuff free. Very little selection of blues music is my only complaint, but this is a relatively new location.

It's impossible to leave without buying something. I spent hours going through their collection. It's unparalleled by the other used records stores in the area.

Cool record store I bought a nice Jimi Hendrix vinyl here. Guy at the front is super nice and the atmosphere here is welcoming.
