Cottage Mart

This place is great! They start serving lunch at 11 and they have an Indian food Hot bar with great prices! They also have a mini grocery store that sells essentials and wine, deli, coffee shop and a bar!

Just got to know about this business last month and since then we have been regular customer at this location.

So far our favorite is their Aloo Samosa. And their Chole And Rice also tastes great.

The business is run by an Indian couple and they both are very nice and welcoming.

It's a convenience store, a restaurant and they have a nice bar as well. You can by daily use items as well as snacks here.

Prices are good and service is nice. The place is always busy. They have road side parking available as well as outdoor sitting for customers. If no you like Indian food then it's a must try! Recommended.

Nice family run place with good sandwiches and Indian food

Wonderful little market in a beautiful neighborhood! Owners are very friendly. Great authentic Indian food buffet as well, you can take to go or eat in a beautiful shaded dining area or inside. A regular stop for me.

Just out for a walk, a break from visit in the hospital. Surprised to find a deli in the neighborhood. Had the best tuna sandwich ever. Very friendly proprietor. Also surprised they have been there 32 years. Will definitely return.

Awesome spot. Eugene, the owner and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. Great food. Sweet little location and a shaded private/secluded area to eat and relax right there attached to the location. Have to make it a habit 😃

Excellent homemade Indian food! Shockingly good! Great lunch plate prices. Otherwise it's a solid little convenience store.

The hot Indian food was and amazing and there was also a small bar

One surviving memory from my childhood in Elmhurst. The Rancho Market on Stockton Blvd (not actually in Elmhurst, I know) and the store on 48th we all knew as Hiram's are both gone. I remember going to Cottage Market (as we knew it then, when tying an onion to one's belt was the style...) for bubble gum or candy bars. It was nice having these little neighborhood stores to go to.
