Your Family Groceries

A great neighborhood store has all the essentials, and the owners are friendly, polite, and kind.

This is my neighborhood go to. Since I moved to Sacramento from the Mountains, I feel as if I am in a small town store where everyone knows everyone. Thank you.

Tldr: store small because low-budget, store good, people are nice as long as your kind and don't dress like a stereotypical robber or look suspicious (the owners are suspicious because a lot of Hiram kids try to steal)

I don't know much history on the store it self, my father (who is 76) says the store has been here since he has, about 5 - 9 months 2 bothers bought the store and its been going the same ever since. A lot of people point out how this store is empty and how its not a "real grocery store" and more of a gas station mart, I say that either way its a store that sells you items no need to put tags over everything. Anyways I really hope the brothers reopen the deli and sell sandwiches and what not it would really steal the competition from "the village drive-through" or what around here call "the burger shack" because 7 - 11 dollars for a sandwich is rough but dam are they good. Further more people should not judge the store just because how it looks or just because a few people had a negative experience, if the owners do something there's a good reason they did it.

This store has recently been purchased by two young men. These brothers have been doing a great job of restocking the shelves of this store. The guy in the picture is Satir. His name is pronounced like "Saturday" but with the day left off. He and his brother are two really great guys.

If you have not been in the store for a while I recommend you come take a look. The old owner Shawn is gone and these two new young men are making changes for the better.

This is a classic old building built in 1948. When the shopping center was first built a Ralley's was located here.

If you like going someplace where the people remember your name this is the place for you.

This is definitely a neighborhood grocery store, not some giant corporation.

If you live in Tahoe Park it is "your family grocery".
