I no longer drive, but my husband passed away and I needed to sell our car. The staff was so kind and understanding, and they made selling a car at a stressful time in my life so easy. I got a great offer, and the whole process was very fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend CarMax!

Person in the business office was super sweet and made the whole process easy, I think she was apart of the “president’s club” and her name was Andrea! Thank you for explaining everything and your kindness. Took about 2 hours from start to finish from checking in to appraisal to completing paperwork for offer.

I made an appt, to get an appraisal on my leased car (Toyota), that was probably 30 mins max. So that was good, nice and quick not too long. Got a good offer on my car. Had 7 days to confirm. The next day , took it to sell , that was a bit of a longer timeframe but the process was simple. I had to like fill out Toyota’s phone number, my account number with Toyota and one more thing. Then carmax took care of the rest. They said there were two people in front of 2, so it ended up taking 2 hours to get done, and then they came out with my check, and I just signed a couple of papers and off I go. Maybe there were more people in front for different reasons , but they also mentioned Toyota might take a min to respond to the phone call. But all in all a good experience!

They gave me a great price for my car. The people I dealt with were friendly and professional. If I ever sell another car I am coming back here.

I’ve always been skeptical about CarMax, but they had a hard-to-find car that I really wanted, so I decided to check them out. I was blown away in every respect. This was by far the best used car experience I’ve ever had. The staff were super low key and friendly. The car was in good shape at a fair price. And they gave me a lot more for my trade in than the Toyota dealer had offered. This was the first time I’ve ever bought a car from a business and experienced zero sliminess or trickery. If I ever need a used car again, I’ll be shopping at CarMax!

They make it very easy to buy a car. They will appraise your trade-in vehicle for free.
They do all the DMV paperwork for you . And you walk out with a new, to you, car!

Truck was missing a jack.... ($600 dealer only availability), hitch receiver was wrong size, & DEF tank was not full.
Mgr covered the cost to purchase all!

I really had a great experience here at this store especially working with mr Allen Vantino. He really has a good sense of customer service because everyone has it’s own taste of the type of vehicle some are very detailed on certain things and some other customers don’t. We’ll my wife is in a wheelchair And he really help me purchase the right size vehicle it took me like about 3 weeks to find the right one and get it delivered but it was really worth it thanks to his advice and knowledge he did a awesome job!!! I will recommend all my family to do there car buying to car max. Especially the one in Stockton store. All the staff were really pleasant and helpful. My wife and I are really enjoying are cool vehicle. Once again I want to mention all the hard work mr vantino did for us and that I really appreciated.

It was very easy going. Was able to look at multiple vehicles and test drove a few with just my wife. After picking the vehicle I chose to purchase, paperwork was very easy and straightforward. Definitely a good experience.

I was preparing to be disappointed on my way to my appointment after getting an estimate value if my truck I needed to sell.
I was very surprised to see a very clean and very busy place. It was a Saturday so it was packed full of buyers and some sellers like me.
I brought all my documents so the process was smooth. They looked over my truck and gave me my officially offer which matched the online offer and my own estimate.

June 6,2021 Looking for a used car on CarMax website was a good experience and easy. After finding one and the price was in my budget. Printed it out and went to the local CarMax near me on Stockton Blvd, went in and the first the first gentleman I seen I show him the print out and told him I want this car. He said "Ok let see if its hasn't been sold or put." Sure enough it was still available. The Guy was really nice and pleasant and very professional. The second process was great to. The lady finishing up the paper work with me was really nice and professional and explained everything clearly. This was the best experience and definitely will be coming back again. I've already been telling all my friends where I got it and a great place to go for a use or new car and prices are good. Thanks CarMax People😎
