Mega Thrift on Clemmonsville has for a very long time been my go to thrift store for unique and reasonably high quality garments. The store has made efficient use of space and organization so it is relatively easy to find specific types of garment. It is hard for me to come in and not find something unique that sticks out to me that is a must buy. One need to look no further to either build a whole outfit or find an addition to your current wardrobe to add a little bit of flair. I have personally worn more clothes from here than anywhere else and have been able to find clothes that would be difficult if not sometimes impossible for me to find elsewhere. This store has been here for years and for good reason in my opinion. I have never found myself disappointed with Mega Thrift's quality especially in comparison to other comparable second hand stores. Especially in today's current economic climate one would be foolish to try and build a wardrobe elsewhere and honestly I will probably dress better than you if you do because all of the hottest fits come straight from this place. If you want to look fresh as heck then shop here if you want to look like a joke then don't.

Mega Thrift is fantastic! So much to choose from and great prices. I got my great grand daughter a basically new winter coat for only $5.99 plus many clothes for her for only 1.99 each. A Halloween costume for only $2.99. I love shopping there. They even have small toys 5 for .99. Of course they sell a little of everything, things for the kitchen, Adult clothes shoes just so much! My family and I will be back soon. They employees are all cheerful and very helpful and friendly too. I Love Mega Thrift!!/

Great place to thrift shop! They have a HUGE selection of nice clothes, weekly sales and good overall prices. Great place to find glassware as well. Shoes are hit or miss, and I don't have any experience with kids clothes but they seem to have a pretty big selection of those too.

Love this place. Always good deals. Have been shopping here for years. They have great employees. Have never had a single employee be rude the entire time I have shopped there (at least 10 years). I have noticed the level of cleanliness has gone up over the past few years. Most place go down but not Megathrift. I love what they did with the toys. They are no longer all over the floor but super neat and tidy. Would totally recommend this place for anyone

I'm a fan! The place is clean and well organized...and always some kind of extra sale going on. It's a great way to save some cash and especially with clothes. Often times I find brand new never worn stuff!

Awsome selection. Impeccable staff. Great prices. This is one of my go-to stores. I NEVER leave without buying something and always pleased with what I buy. Tina is a true treasure. She went way beyond the call of duty for me. I am forever grateful to her for what she has done for Britney. Tina deserves a very nice raise.

I love this Store its A million times better than the store on University I always come and find something that I need it or was looking for. I never leave empty handed. This is my absolute favorite thrift store. It's so organized by size, color and style. You honestly can't beat that. You CAN tell that they take care and have PRIDE of their product and that's why I will return.

Well organized and clean. Some items way over priced while others were more accurate. Employees were pleasant and EVERYONE wore a mask. Kudos for that! Will shop there again. Plenty of parking.

I have been shopping at Mega Thrift ever since they first opened their Clemmonsville Rd. location when I was about 17. I am now 24 and live about 45 minutes away. I still shop there as often as I can, because of all of my wonderful finds. I have since discovered the University parkway location and also shop there as often as I can get there. I describe it to my friends as "Goodwill, only way better." Both locations are always clean, and have very friendly employees. All the clothes are sorted in such a way that it is easy to find something specific you are looking for. The prices are always reasonable, and that's BEFORE the tag of the week sale! Even though I no longer live close to either location, I try to make the 45 minute drive monthly. The majority of my closet came from Mega Thrift!
They also have a great selection of housewares, which helped out a lot when my husband and I got married and needed to stock a house. I will shop at Mega Thrift as long as they are open. Anytime I am in the Winston Salem area, I try to find a way to get there. You never know what you will find!

I LOVE this thrift store! Out of all the other consignment shops in town, Mega Thrift is my first go-to store for new-to-us clothes for the entire family! I love their super sale events, where everything is on sale for half off, or their children' clothes sale, where everything $4.99 and under is only .99! It is clean, well organized, and the employees are always happy to help. They have two locations, one on the south side of town, and one on University; the University location is my absolute favorite. The manager there is always cheery and upbeat, and will happily answer any question. Once you start shopping here, you will be addicted!

Good stuff at good prices kinda like a Goodwill but bigger and good deals. Toy's, clothes, and other stuff.

Great place to find great deals. The best thing I like is that when shopping for clothes, they are organized not just by size but also colors. Just by that feature, it's obvious that the staff cares for its customers and they take pride in the way they make shopping pleasant. You want to come back.

This store is Wonderful! I can't imagine shopping retail after finding this jewel. I've been told these fancy pants consignment shops like ETC are sneaking over to the MEGAS, and the owner and her minions are buying items to pad their inventory. Save their INFLATED prices! Go straight to MEGA THRIFT! Call the staff is great! Anthony is the special a wonderful he'll help with anything. The Clemmonsville Road is my favorite but they're both great!

I love this thrift store. I like that things are so easy to find. I moved to N.C. last year and have furnished my apartment with lots of items from here.I think they are reasonable on the prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a must see thrift store.

I love this store. It has great deals on clothes for ALL ages. It is a fun place to find things for the house and craft projects as well. The staff is always nice and it is a clean store. I need to go more often.

Always enjoy the hunt and Mega Thrift is always a great place to start. Not as well stocked as before Covid, but you never know when you'll find a treasure!

Wonderful selection, most organized thrift I have ever seen and I have seen alot as thrifting is a full time hobby of mine. I always find great deals here!!!!

Everything is color sorted and usually more organized than Goodwill. Like ANY store that sells used items, you should check everything before you buy it. They have an email newsletter with deals as well as weekly deals.

Sometimes you can find incredible stuff. I got a whole garbage bag size full of clothes in great condition for like forty bucks- and they were mostly really good brand names. The book section is pretty weak, but kid toys and games is great! I got a brand new (but the older version) game of Scattergories for 98¢!

This one is better than the other Mega Thrift.

I ABSOLUTELY love this thrift store! The store is huge & is always throwing 50% off sales on certain tag colors. You can find lots of gently and unique clothing at a BARGAIN. Everybody should definitely visit, plus the store is SUPER organized (:
