Food Lion

The people at this Food Lion are terrific. I couldn't reach a container of milk so asked for assistance from one of the store assistants, and he cheerfully helped me. Additionally, at check out, the cashier went out of his way to honor a coupon that wouldn't go through the scanning system. Instead of saying "too bad", he went the extra mile to honor the coupon with pleasure. Great customer service there!!!

First store I’ve seen in a while keeping their prices as low as they can during these times of inflation. Make sure you become a Food Lion MVP member to pay much less.

Clean store with awesome weekly deals that we can all use right now. I typically shop at Food Lion for the weekly deals and the items that I can't get cheaper at a well-known box store. But I do get the majority at Food Lion. I recommend Food Lion to my friends as well as acquaintances, so if you haven't given them a try, I think you would be satisfied if you did. I suggest downloading their app because they have good digital coupons and a program that they call Shop and Earn. If you buy $50 amount of let's say frozen items, you may be offered $5 when you purchase that $50, and it will automatically deduct the $5 off of your next purchase. You can track how much more you need to buy in order to reach the $50 simply by using the app. It's a great way to maximize your savings, and I don't see other stores, especially the big box stores doing this for their customers. Just give it a try, and you'll be happy you did.

Shout out to Juan the manager who works second shift!! I accidentally left my phone at a self check out register. By the time I realized it and drove back to the store, it had been stolen. Instead of picking it up and turning into management, this lady decided to take it home with her. Cameras showed it all go down. Winston Salem PD was called and my phone was recovered quickly thanks to today’s technology and the able to track just about anything. Thanks Juan for being so helpful!!!! And compassionate and understanding!! Food Lion has always been my go to for shopping and will continue to be!!

Good place, nice selection, staff is a bit hard to find when need, but they were busy when I last went.

Waughtown location has definitely had some very positive attention. The displays, the shelves, dairy and produce, bakery and deli were all immaculate and attractive. Store was noticeably clean and staff were all busy and professionally dressed.

They are usually quick and very personable. I go there one to two times a week and enjoy each time. Good prices and the store is clean. Even when their registers crashed, they were apologetic and tried to keep the customers that stayed, happy. I really do appreciate the cashier's kindness, it really does make a difference.

Good local grocery store. Love going first thing when they open. Shelves are stocked as much is possible.

By far their beat employee is Willy! Always there to greet you with a smile and some kind words.

Love my neighborhood Food Lion! Love the organic Nature’s Place brand of food items as I am trying to be kinder to my liver. Produce always fresh and in appropriate supply to ensure freshness. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

The store is all ways clean and stock well except for the produce was out of fresh greens but great customer service at your front. Dion was great cashier took me even though he was closing and also took others that came after me I comment him on his great customer service.

In and out no problem. Prices seem to increase every time I go in.

Store was well stocked. And overall very clean. Cashier, and bagger was very pleasant. All employees we came in contact with were masked and observant of social distancing

I shop at this Food Lion at least once a week - its my favorite Food Lion. Today i was very pleased to find an item I could not find at Walmart. This is the 3rd item I specifically shop at Food Lion to purchase. Always enjoy shopping there.

Great clearance rack in back left. They have cold, cooked chicken on sale and general tso wings were sweet, but good.
