CVS Pharmacy

We stopped here during our recent visit to Tysons/ Vienna VA. The store was very well organized, and we could easily find what we needed. We found some nice greeting cards there and a special decongestant medicine that wouldn’t elevate blood pressure. Thankfully, we found this CVS during our trip and also saved a total of $10 in coupons for our purchase!

If you seek Professional staff in a pharmacy, go to CVS - 8117 Leesburg Pike, they were excellent treating me kindly even with my complex request; Never saw a bad gesture, all of them very busy and happily working Many blessings for them! BTW: I went there because the “competition” was unwilling, unable and unfriendly to seek for alternatives; CVS personnel were and are Excellent!

I always have helpful associates at both the pharmacy and main store checkout area. It is a busy store and pharmacy has alot going on. I always manage to get the help I need and pleasant assistance. I have been going here for 5 years and no bad experience. I think more people need to be kind and patient with regards to the busy/overworked pharmacy staff.

I get a prescription from the CVS a few times a year for my family. Jeff, the pharmacist, has always been welcoming, direct and friendly. But more than that, he seems to genuinely care about people. The other day, I picked up a prescription for an antibiotic. While checking out, he noticed something different about the prescription. He asked me to wait a second while he double checked. He looked up my doctor’s request to confirm the quantity of pills. Then, I saw him talk to another pharmacist to confirm. When he returned (in less than a minute), he said that he noticed my doctor had prescribed 7 tablets, but that they were to be taken every 12 hours. He said normally these antibiotics are to be taken for 7-10 days, not 3.5. He told me that he was skeptical that the doctor may have put “7” next to quantity of pills when she intended to write “7” next to “number of days.”

I called my doctor and sure enough, Jeff’s suspicion was correct. Now, this isn’t life-saving medicine. But it’s for an infection. One bad enough that I saw a doctor and got a prescription for. And had Jeff not cared enough to pay attention, be skeptical, ask and then inform me, I wouldn’t have known. And my painful infection probably wouldn’t have gone away.

So, thanks, Jeff, the pharmacist at CVS, for caring about people like me. The world needs more people like you.

They did it again! Great, fast service, I guess today I got her name Reema? Hope I am right w the name, but sure they are great with customers!!! Well done!

Cooler than ever

CVS is my favorite place to buy all medical vitamins or medicines. Their offers are very good in terms of discounts, and the workers inside the branch are very cooperative and help you with any question.

A little slow on the drive through, but good effort

Extremely rude pharmacist Beni arora she is not knowledgeable at all and you have to ask the same question 100 times to get an answer ! Me and my whole family will be switching pharmacy as long as she works there
I had to wait a long time she had an attitude and did not respond to my question of the medication maximum effect . I had to call her 3 times as she would not talk to me and she would send the nice technician which had no answer to my question
She is definitely not a qualified pharmacist and I am a physician and I am always dealing with pharmacist
It is such a shame that cvs that is the well known pharmacy hires unqualified pharmacists
I will be switching to Walmart Vienna which is within 2 mins drive and they have the nicest and most knowledgeable pharmacists that want to help patients and answer their questions and copays are less than CVs as well
I will be definitely advising my patients to stay away from this location as well

I wouldn’t get any prescriptions filled at this pharmacy. The wait time is ridiculous and they techs and pharmacists absolutely do not care how long you wait. They’ll have conversations and laughs amongst themselves behind the counter while people are waiting in a long line for over 35-45 minutes. They aren’t kind or helpful. If they mix something up, they keep passing you onto someone else within the pharmacy until the last person is left and still doesn’t have any answers for you.

I’d find another CVS pharmacy, even if it’s a little out of your way, because this one had the worst service possible.

Just gotta say whoever was working the phones in the pharmacy at around 1945 on the 23rd of Feb, was the rudest and most unprofessional pharmaceutical tech I've had the displeasure of dealing with.

We're an urgent care and we were trying to call to correct an issue with a prescription sent to a patient and we had to call 6 times due to the staff just picking up and then hanging up the phone on us. They forgot to properly hang up one time and just left the line open and we could hear them talking faintly too... when we called the 7th time they answered the lady on the other end was incredibly short tempered and rude and made it far more difficult to fix the issue than it needed to be.

So from a medical providers point of view; we're all just trying to do our jobs we don't have to be $&@*'s to each other.

Dont send a prescription to their pharmacy, you might regret it. Personally I have tolerated them enough. Now it's time to go somewhere else. They will make you wait and wait and wait and would never release your prescription when they don't have it in stock. They made me come back several times under false hope until the transfered my prescription our, but only to another CVS. Despicable.

I was in line at the drive thru almost an hour. People would come to the window, look at me and walk away. Other people would ask if I needed help and walk away.
I had just gotten out of surgery and couldn't go inside but if you do choose this pharmacy, I suggest going inside instead. If you notice, the drive thru always has a very long line. As a side note, I was there on a Monday in the afternoon. So, there's no excuse for ignoring customers who need help.

Absolute worst pharmacy. They are TERRRRIBLE and so slow. And apparently no one knows how to answer the phone…

The pharmacy tech, i believe her name is Rimas, was absolutely rude and unprofessional. She was huffing and puffing all the time, she wasn’t helpful at the end. This is my first time to ever put a bad review but she really does deserve to be gone.
