TC’s Rockets -Comics & Stuff is located in San Diego just 5 minutes from SDSU. This comic book store has a large collection of comic related toys, a vintage toy selection, games & iconic comics.

TC’s Rockets- Comics & Stuff is a great place to buy sell, and trade comics. This place is an amazing spot for both adults and kids alike. The store also holds in store signing, tournaments, and meet & greets.

The store is big and spacious. The workers were friendly and seemed like they were enjoying themselves, which creates a nice environment. I like how the comics amd toys are displayed, too; everything feels easy to find. This isn't the store for trades/graphic novels, but the comic selection is good, and there is a great selection of variants, signed comics, and other display-only comics.

This is one of—if not THE—biggest and best card, games, and comics shops in San Diego county. They have models, figurines, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, comics, toys, and more! A really special and cool shop.

The staff are really fun as well, they have a really cool vibe and have a good time with customers. One really interesting thing about this shop is that they also have a pizza & subs restaurant set up directly next door! Pretty unusual and cool!

I enjoy their Magic prerelease tournaments a lot. They’re slightly cheaper than most other stores, and a ton of people show up to play. If you’re interested in this kind of stuff, TC’s is definitely worth your time.

Great place to buy sell, and trade comics. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Great place to play Magic and D&D and Warhammer. Reserve a table same day-no advance reservations. Great place to meet comic book collectors. Most are willing to talk with you about them. Great see place to see old timey, classic cars on the weekend

Absolutely fantastic. We've been looking for an iconic comic, collectables and game store in the area and I kick myself for missing this location for the 4 years it's been open here. Good luck NOT finding the thing you're looking for, here... You'll easily buy more than you were expecting. 😄

Good selection of present age comic book. Another plus is that all new comics are 30% off every day, not only on release days. They also offer comic book services like pressing and CGC. Given the name, they also have a huge selection of collectible toys and trading cards. In the back, there is a huge area where they host tournaments.

A total random stop when traveling to San Diego brought back many childhood memories. This is not your average comic book store; no sir ree-bub.

This place had your usual large selection of comics but also a large collection of related toys. They also have a vintage toys section with, at the time of visit, one of the most complete GI Joe toy collections I had ever seen.

This is one of those places that you wish was close to home as there are some many things to see and buy.

What a fantastic store. I have never been to a more comprehensive store stocked with an amazing collection. If your interests align with Transformers, Star Wars, GI joe and tabletop gaming, this is the place to be. It's gonna be hard to beat this store.

I absolutely love this place very friendly. Atmosphere and the staff were all great. I love it one of the very few places I found. Were they actually still have gatherings of gamers of various board games and games with maps and figurines? And it was awesome. I highly recommend it.

The best comic book store in San Diego hands down. 🔥My daughter loved the variety of comic books and my favorite part was the figurines and action figures of all of my childhood cartoons .🙌cant wait to go back.

Friendly customers service and knowledgeable staff. Huge variety of new and vintage collectable figures. Role playing merchandise, higher end collectables, and much much more. If your into action figures (and in the San Diego area) then definitely come here to shop; add to your collection or find that Holy Grail you're looking for. Very clean, organized and great customer service.

I can’t say enough about the amazing staff they have over there! Just always super friendly and always helpful, they all really go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of.

I play magic the gathering and not only do they have a great collection of mtg cards but I can honestly say there’s no better place in Southern California for constructed magic tournaments. from the awesome rocket series monthly tournaments to the regular weekly tournaments you can always find a great game of magic pretty much any day of the week.

This is an amazingly large comic shop with an excellent selection of new comics (Marvel/DC as well as indies)... all bagged/boarded. There is also a very decent selection of back issues, both recent and older, as well as a large selection of CGC slabbed comics and comic supplies (bags, boards, boxes).
Beyond comics they have HUGE selection of toys & action figures, recent and vintage. They also have a large selection of magic the gathering cards and a large area for magic tournament play.

The ambiance of TC's is everything you would expect from a medium sized LGS. The walls are covered in floor to ceiling graded comics, collectibles and cases of MTG/Pokemon/Yugioh cards. I go here for tournaments when the store closer to me is sold out of the product I want and TC's delivers a fun environment and welcoming experience every time.

We had 80 (yes 80!) people in our Pre-Release last night and it didn't even feel crowded. I also like their prize structure for non-pre-release events since they give store credit instead of packs so I can play more at a discount if I do well.

January 2024 Addition:

TC's in my opinion is also very fair with their pricing for Limited MTG events. I recently signed up for a $1,000 prize pool event for the same cost as another store's regular Pre-Release. I think the other store is overcharging and TC's is definitely charging competitive or near-cost prices but it is still a massive difference between a $1,000 prize pool for a Sealed event or a pack-per-win...

If the ninja exchange location is anything close to the main store then I have nothing but positive to say. The staff is really friendly and helpful and helped me get the cards I needed. Their trade in rate towards other singles is amazing and I walked out with all the cards I needed. They have an great variety of MTG packs, boxes, and singles all at a really good prices. Could not recommend them enough and shout out to the ninja exchange employees for being amazing. Will definitely be back for any MTG needs.

Great spot for card game players, especially Pokemon. Tommy is very knowledgeable with the meta and happy to help find what you need everytime.

They host tournaments every Wednesday around 5pm and Saturday around noon. The shop is very well stocked and have plenty of space for everyone. It's also dog friendly too! Love this shop and the community it brings. There's a lot more events hosted here, you just gotta come see it for yourself!

Awesome shop. Plenty of comic books, and various action figures. They cater a lot towards the Magic and Pokemon TCG, rather than Yu-Gi-Oh which is lame bc I wish they would sell ygo singles here lol. Check this place out whenever you have the chance!

Great game store for table top and card games. They host community games for D&D and the like. Great staff and great group of people play here.
