This is by far the most amazing candy shop in the area! Small mom and pop shop. Everyone is amazing! They carry the only local honey that we use.

Our favorite place for sour wood honey and all kinds of great sweets. The owner is such a nice man! We made friends with him. Visit the place! It is worth it!

The same kind service and warm armosphere, but the prices seem to have doubled for most items. One quart of sour wood honey used to cost 25 dollars, but now it costa 45. As most of the items in the store are optional we will have to skip the store and the merchandise in the future.

The BEST fudge you’ll ever eat. We stopped by just checking out the shops and was offered a sample of fresh made fudge. It was very good but not surprising since it was fresh. I bought a small sampler and brought it home for the car trip. It is still as fresh as it was when we sampled it. The gentleman working was very kind and gave us some suggestions for our trip back next year . I can’t wait to stop back.

Thank you for bringing back so many fond memories from my childhood trips to Gatlinburg. We used to stop in for caramel apples and fudge each Fall when my family would vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Imagine my surprise when we walked in and the same couple were making fudge and peanut brittle just like they did when I was kid.
We snagged quite an assortment of fudge, salted caramel and peanut brittle. The owners were very kind and didn't mind me excitedly going down Memory Lane.
If you have young ones this is a great spot to stop and watch them make their sugary treats. It's far enough away from the craziness of the strip that you actually feel like you're in a small mountain town. Plus there's plenty of free parking.

Homemade potato candies, the best pecan brittle I've ever had, amazing ice cream, the peanut butter fudge was delicious, the divinity was light and fluffy. She only takes cash.

We have been visiting for nearly two decades.
We visit every time in Smokey Mountains!

Glades Candies is located at edge of town near crafters road. Owners Ronnie & Connie greet patrons with free samples of fudge. Nearly everything is handmade in copper kettles on premises - fudge, marshmallows, caramel, giant candy apples, moonshine peanut brittle, fresh whole peach shakes, ice cream, soft peppermint sticks, taffy, stick candy, jellies, jams, preserves and local sourwood honey.

We love Glades! This was our second trip, to purchase the largest container of incredible local Sourwood honey. We love it and theirs is amazing. Lots of candy choices as well.

Glades Candies is a must visit anytime you are in Gatlinburg. The caramel apples are out of this world. Seriously, they are the best caramel apples I've ever had. The secret is the caramel cooked in a very old copper pot. It might sound silly, but sometimes the simple things done right are the best. The staff is super friendly and has been making candy for many many years. Take a break from the Gatlinburg strip and check them out. They are located in a small strip with several other artisans worth checking out. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful little shop. The owner was so kind and talked about how the candies are made, especially the potato candy. This place is Cash Only, but they have an ATM in store. The candy sticks and fudge are delicious.

We were in Gatlinburg for 5 days and went there every day. This shop is amazing and the candy is by far the best I've ever had. The customer service was awesome. Such a wonderful family ran business. My last day there I went and got candy for family in Michigan and I'm fighting not to eat it. I highly recommend this place.

Make sure you check this place out FIRST when you get to the area. It has been in business for 30 plus years. You don't stay in business that long by having a poor quality product, so take that hint and get there ASAP! The candy and treats are top notch. Make sure you try the Bee's Knees milkshake too. Still in the Smokies now and plan to make a second or maybe third trip before we return home!

Fantastic local candy store! Visiting from WA state and it was wonderful to show my kids a perfect example of southern hospitality. My son said it’s the best chocolate ice cream he’s ever had. Highly recommend!

Very friendly owner who was eager to answer any questions and tell us a little
about what he does at Glades Homemade Candies. I personally picked out birthday cake covered Oreos and they were fantastic! Next time we’re in Gatlinburg I’ll need to try something else.

The fudge, peppermint patties and sea salt caramels are DELICIOUS! The father and son team working were so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend! I especially love this place because it is not in the thick of the chaos of Gatlinburg!

We always stop in this candy store, people are outstanding and the candy doesn't get any better than this family owned store.

They have a large selection of delicious home made candies, chocolates, and fudge and honey. The chocolate covered toffee with sea salt was amazing. The store owners were very helpful and friendly. They gave us fudge samples and even a gift for stopping by. There are other shops owned by local craftsmen right next door. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the Gatlinburg area.
