Village Candles

I LOVE this shop! Probably my favorite in the whole loop. I came to this shop *twice* within the span of my 3-day trip to the area. I cannot believe how affordable these lovingly hand painted candles are. The variety and expressiveness in these candles is truly amazing. Plus, the artist who makes them is truly the sweetest woman I have ever met. Such a joy to be able to have stopped in today!

Very cute shop. The owner is incredibly kind and talked a bit about her shop and how long she's been doing what she loves. The candles are super cute and fun decor. She educated on the glaze as well as that they won't melt if it's less than 180 degrees! Very reasonably priced as well.

So much fun! I didn't anticipate the ornamental candles at all, I thought I'd be walking into a trendy, ombre soy candle shop just like every other place but instead I was greeted by familiar candles of old! I wish I remembered what they call them specifically ( I didn't stay for the demostrations) but all the hand painted figurines are beautiful and they have floating soy and dipped tapered candles too. Lots of variety, great gift ideas! I wish they shipped because I'd finish my Christmas shopping right now. The owner was friendly, personable and when she heard I was traveling she wrapped up all my candles with great care. I will return every time I visit Gatlinburg!

This is one of my favorite stores ever! The candles are absolutely gorgeous and so unique. Stephanie was so kind and welcoming. We cannot wait to come back from Pennsylvania! Highly highly recommend!

This place is such a gem. They have candles for every occasion at reasonable prices. The shop keep was extremely nice and pleasant to talk to. She was very sweet to our dog, and we love dog friendly places.
People need to mind their children as these candles look like fun toys.
We purchased a pinecone candle that looks wonderful on our mantle. If we are ever in town we will definitely stop in again.

Visited while in Tennessee last week. Incredible candles. Wonderful owner. She was very personable and friendly. We had our obedient trained doberman with us and she let my husband and I come in with her. I could of stayed for hours looking at all their amazing candles and talking with the owner. Definitely will stop in again when we go to Tennessee. A must stop!!

Such a unique place some of the most beautiful candles an its all made right here in the store can't beat the prices an the owner Stephanie is the most caring an giving person ive ever met would recommend this to anyone looking for a beautiful hand crafted candle

My husband and I happened upon this establishment right after Christmas. We were immediately impressed with the attention to detail. Enough so, that we left with 5 items. As much as I like a good deal, they should charge more. Everyone needs to check this place out that has been a part of the community for 40 years. Also, the woman who helped us and checked us out was just so nice! I'm excited to return again and see what's new.

My husband and I visit this shop every visit to TN from FL over past 15-20 years. Always find something to purchase. Owners very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to stop on your trip to TN.

I bought a wax carved as Venus de Milo and it is a piece of art. I love coming to their store.

My husband and I love this place. We haven't been there in 3years. We have bought several candles. And have never burned them. Miss Stephanie is a lovely woman. We will be back soon.

Always the best place to visit. Stephanie is such a sweet, welcoming woman. I stop in every time I'm in Gatlinburg. I've been in there enough even Harry Rex comes out from the back to say hello. They have such a beautiful selection of candles. It's Gatlinburg's hidden treasure. If you're ever in Gatlinburg, be sure to stop in and grab yourself a one of a kind candle. This artisanal candle place is an unique store to visit for their important choice of thematic candles for all tastes. I bought my first Christmas candles 15 years ago....never burnt them, only displayed a month each year....gently dusting them before to store in a box....those candles are still bright and look new! I went back in September and bought several different candles that are all beautiful and high quality (raccoon, black bear to install in a "cabinet of curiosity", Turkey for Thanksgiving table... The owners are so friendly and open to explain about their artisanal candle work. They were surprised and happy to know I still keep my first Christmas set of candles from their production....bought 15 years ago! Highly recommended to anyone who wants high quality made in USA candles.

I highly recommend this handmade Candle Store. It is locally owned by Miss Stephanie who is a sweetheart. She has a massive selection of candles that are made locally. Every time my daughter and I visit Gatlinburg we stop by her shop. Very blessed to have found this Hidden Gem of a store. May the Lord continue to bless Miss Stephanie and this location.

We stopped here on August 2,2020 after having a very bad experience with the leather works shop and the Santa Claus-et, I was impressed at ALL the beautiful candle work and was looking for a hummingbird one ( they had sold out) Stephanie showed me one she could have ready by the time we left for back home ( which is August 4) I left her my name and number in the event she got it done before we left for home, we left her/his store at 2:30 that day BY 4:15 she called and said my candle was ready!!! I was stunned and very impressed, Stephanie is a prime example of high quality,good people, caring,over and above,exceptional, takes care of her customers kind of person, IF there is a medal of customer service Stephanie sure does deserve one! Will be back! Spread the good word!

This is such a great place to go for unique candles. Been coming here for years. The people that own it are so nice. Such a lovely shop!

Owners are wonderful people. Everything is so to the t in detail. We purchased a cross and 3 piece nativity scene. Price are great. These were all candles.
