It always smells amazing when you walk in. Tracking down the particular foods that caught your attention is like an amazing scavenger hunt. The store personnel are always friendly and helpful. Love these little trips!

Always a pleasant experience shopping at Barons! Their produce is fresh and prices are good and they have a wonderful salad bar for those who want to make a green salad, plus a salad bar that includes pre-made salads. Next to that is a soup bar with fresh homemade soups (plus mac & cheese!) and rolls. There are sections for fresh meats, cheeses, deli items, breads, beer, wine, and soft drinks. The clerks are friendly and helpful, and that makes the shopping experience even better.

LOVE LOVE LOVE BARONS. Go here instead of Whole Foods Market. Better quality, less expensive, what’s not to love? I particularly enjoy their grass fed steaks, sausage with NO SUGAR, and fresher pecans. The people who work there are engaged, pleasant and helpful. They seem like happier people than at WFM. I love that Barons plays subtle jazz at a very low volume unlike other grocery stores that torment you with their soundtracks. Clean, well stocked, pleasant, good variety, uncrowded. Oh I love how it’s not jammed with sad personal shoppers. I love the variety of brands. I love that I don’t have to go to Whole Foods Market anymore. Yay.

I love this market. They have a wide selection of fresh ingredients, canned foods, convenient foods, wines, spirits, beers, and more! Quick tip, if you can't find parking in the front (from 32nd street), just drive around to Bancroft and park in the parking garage underneath and take the elevator up. I pretty much always find parking here.

The only downside to this market is that the pricing can be a bit on the higher end of the spectrum. But, given the quality of produce, and convenient location, it's worth it for me.

I also appreciate that all of the cashiers and staff are friendly and approachable.

Not only does Barons have hard to find items, it's super clean and the staff are knowledgable ... but the produce prices are regularly lower than VONS ... how's THAT for a surprise. Look at these photos ... how often is a store display so handsome you want to photograph it?

Local-feeling grocer with quality produce and uncommon brands. Covers all the bases and more. Prices generally in line with other major grocery chains in the area, or slightly higher. A few highlights aside from food: It always looks very clean, has underground parking for cars, safe bike racks, unarmed security, and lots of plants for sale.

When walking by after going to UPS, it is a little bit out of my budget, but I expect nothing less when it comes to organic produce and good quality food/drinks. The clam chowder was delicious. Will definitely come back for that. I'm excited to try the baguette they have at the entrance. I wish I had caught that before. The cashier looked like she had a bad day. Wishing the best for the workers 🙏

Every time I come here the staff is super nice. They have the best brands for vegan food. It is a little pricey but honestly worth it to get what I want. Shout out to Christian! He’s a great people person and easy go talk to while he gets you checked out and on your way 😊

It was a very convenient location, great vibes and it opens up late which is a big plus. I found very unique healthy meals as well as ready to go.
The temperature was good I usually freeze in other stores but it was quite enjoyable they have pots and plants at a corner with some displays are fancy cheese and some cutlery. Organic fresh juice is definitely something to look forward to if you need to grab a healthy lunch at a very reasonable price this is the place

This is a great place to good quality food for pretty decent prices. I love their produce selection. The salad & soup bar is the bomb. They also have a great beer, cider, and wine section. The cashiers are always nice. I like that you can park in the garage under the store, which almost always has parking, even when the top lot is full.

In case anyone is wondering like I was what Barons looks like now in response to covid-19, I attached pictures from my visit on April 24th. Same store you love, just safer. All the self serve stations (snacks & grains, salad bar, soup station, etc.) have been packaged. It may cost a little more since you can't weight out a specific amount but everything is still there.

It's all organic, so of course there will be expensive stuff there, but a lot of it isn't expensive at all.. oh and this recipe is the most delightful yet

Great produce at a great price. This place has "top drawer" quality produce and a variety the box stores would never have. Check out the prepackaged salads. I eat them almost every day.

Great selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Love this place!

First off this is a bigger Barons then I am normally use to so thats great. What they have done new here is the Craft Coffee Section aka Local Roasters from San Diego! and you cant go wrong with their olive bar, salad bar and craft beer corner

Love this store. The staff always seem happy, which really does rub off on you. Their Covid procedures were perfect and greatly appreciated. Best OJ you’ll ever have and best soups in town. Plenty of parking!

Awesome selection of healthy foods and goodies. I love the many ready to eat and heat and serve meals they have from sandwiches, salads to dinners like meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. There’s an excellent section of beers, ciders and wines. The salad bar looks delightful.

Never heard of this grocery store before. Its like a sprouts but on steroids. I wish I had this grocery store around the corner. Came here because I wanted a water after dropping something off at UPS. Walked out with like 50$ worth of groceries.

Great market. Excellent produce. It actually is not that more expensive than Vons. Nicer shopping experience. Good wine & beer selection. Excellent Soup station. Very Nice Staff. They do not try to run you over like Trader Joe's.

Absolutely love Barons! So clean and well-stocked, greens are fresh lots of vegan and vegetarian options, full salad bar, great dry pasta section, environmentally conscious cleaning supplies. It's a perfect spot for household shopping of all kinds. The staff are very helpful and kind!
