Super cute, tiny Lao grocery store! Perfect if you're looking for specific Lao or Thai items/ingredients that you can't normally find in Chinese grocery stores. It perfectly supplements the other larger Asian Market in Modesto. They have a small frozen section, fridge with fresh vegetables, kitchen appliance area, and general grocery area with pantry items like coconut milk, fish sauce, etc.

I came here looking specifically for equipment to make sticky rice mainly, and I found just that! All at reasonable prices as well. I bought a 5.5" diameter bamboo sticky rice serving basket for $15 (the same size basket was $29 on Amazon), and an aluminum pot with a bamboo sticky rice steamer and lid as well for around $30 (the pot, steamer, and lid from Amazon add up to about $80!). I wish that they had some more designs, but they're beautiful regardless!

I was also looking for Lao vermincelli noodles, unfiltered fish sauce, and banana blossoms, and they had all of them. I also noticed that they had some Lao beef jerky, frozen sausage, and marinated meats that I would love to try next time I go back.

The staff was friendly, and I'm excited to go back! They take card as well, so don't worry about needing to bring cash.

They carry a lot of unique Asian items and the prices would surprise you how cheap they are.
The alyosha lady who works behind the counter is a doll.
