Just bought new kayaks from the Woodsman in Fort Smith. Staff was super helpful with tips on loading, hauling, PFDs, and even gave us suggestions on the best spots to take our kayaks out!

They have women on staff - I found it very helpful to talk to another female about the fit of my PFD.

I recently purchased a Scott Speedster 30 from the Woodsman Bike Shop. Devan, the sales representative was very helpful and kind. He was genuinely interested in helping me and helped pick the right road bike. I have put over 25 miles on the bike and love it. The Woodsman is a great local business. So glad they are in the Fort Smith Area.

I have been buying goods here for going on 17 years. Quality, durability, and specificity are the characteristics I seek out for any outdoor products. The brand names carried offer exactly this and sometimes much more. Easier in and out than the old location and I have never visited without at least one staff member approach me to see if I needed help.

Mallory, Justin, Ashley and the whole crew are so helpful every time I shop here! I went in to buy a T-shirt from Fort Smith for my cousins birthday and left with a whole bag full! This is my go-to for Tevas, Altra running, Chacoas, Kavu, Patagonia and so much more!!

I always find things here that I want. The quality is always great. My only wish is that they’d carry Birkenstock. I like to support local but have had to buy my many pairs of Birk’s elsewhere :(

Scott got me setup with the bike I wanted, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions, including ones I didn’t know I had. He went above and beyond to ensure my bike was safely mounted to my car for the ride home.

Everyone is very friendly. Nick and Lee were very helpful! They don't hover over you, but they have just the right amount of customer service! Something that I have found lacking in all industries since covid.

Had a wonderful customer service experience and bought a Crescent CK1 Venture kayak! Scott was extremely friendly on the phone and in-person.
I drove from Missouri all the way to Fort Smith just to pickup the kayak! Will be back to accommodate any paddling needs that come up in the future.

The guy in the bicycle shop,Jared, is so helpful and nice. I am the clutziest person you'll find and starting to ride a bike again after 25 years. I would recommend them to anyone wanting get back on a bicycle 🚲!

The staff is friendly, polite, and helpful. A few of them even have a great sense of humor which is very important. I usually spend a few hundred dollars each time I come here, and the staff always helps me to find exactly what I want. 5 stars!

We came in not knowing much about kayaks but BJ helped me and my family out and we feel super confident about our purchases. We bought three kayaks and can definitely say we’ll be back. I wouldn’t have minded paying a little more for the knowledge that came along with our purchase but honestly, the prices for our kayaks were comparable to on-line stores and actually beat the manufacturer’s price.

This place has just what I need when it comes to clothing and camping accessories. Their service is impeccable and the store is always stocked and clean. If you need anything outdoors related, they have got you more than covered!
