Fish City Grill

This place is awesome! The food was amazing. Seafood stuffed flounder melted in my mouth. As Paula Dean once said, "It's like a party in my mouth," and the Gumbo was on point as well. So much so, I ordered some Togo for lunch the next day. The place was clean and not too busy at Supper time on a Tuesday. The waitress was friendly and did her Thang! She wasn't a helicopter waitress but made sure we were well taken care of. The prices are a little expensive but the food made up for it. The ONLY reason I gave 3 stars on the atmosphere was because I thought I would freeze to death. Most likely just the seating, but I'm pretty sure I saw my breath for a few minutes. Highly recommend!!!

Lunch time was upon me and my stomach was ready for some good food. I was interested in trying a new place and the Google reviews on Fish City looked great so I headed that way.

The restaurant was deserted for lunch so me and my Dad had the place to ourselves. After being seated our waitress went over the menu and her recommendations since we were new to the restaurant. Stevie (our waitress) was extraordinarily hospitable catering to our every need with a smile and great attitude from start to finish. I want to throw a big thanks her way for the great service!

As for the food... It was prefect! I decided to go with the Fish "Tacos" & Black Beans and Rice (more like a burrito cut in half) but, that should not deter you from trying it. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and way more filing than I had expected. My Dad had the Crab and Shrimp stuffed flounder with Clam Chowder Soup. He enjoyed every bite, and was really quite impressed with quality of the chowder in particular.

Overall, this was a great place to sit down and have a bite to eat. It was a clean, friendly and delicious . I highly recommend you make the trip over here to fill up! If you get Stevie as your waitress that will be the cherry on top!

We decided to check this place out finally and were not disappointed. Mel was our server and she was fantastic, they brought out a little sampler to try their soups since it was our first time-super nice! The shrimp linguini is fantastic and has a kick to it. The lobster and shrimp grilled cheese is one of the best grilled cheese we’ve ever had.

A must-try! Quaint atmosphere. Prompt service. Friendly staff. Our server, Becca, was exceptional! The food was fabulous. Every guest at our table enjoyed their selection... crispy calamari, perfectly blackened redfish, 10/10 on the fried catfish, perfect peel & eat shrimp. My raw gulf oysters & cup of clam chowder were perfect. My husband said the crab bisque was better than any he had ever had anywhere else. Reasonably priced. Go during happy hour for 1/2 off craft draft short beers. Spotlessly clean restrooms. Will definitely recommend to others & plan to visit again, when visiting Fort Smith.

Great flavors. The live music on the patio was a nice addition to dinner.

We came to Fish City Grill with a large group after a youth baseball game. They did a great job of taking care of our group and treated us to an amazing night of great food and service. We tried several different appetizers and I can highly recommend the grilled oysters and the calamari. For dinner, I ordered the shrimp tacos and my son ordered the hot chicken sandwich. I was warned that the shrimp tacos would be spicy and they were. The chicken sandwich was also very good and my son said that it was a very large sandwich. All in all, a great night at FCG. We will definitely be back when we are in town.

We Had a Wonderful Lunch there.Was there soon as the doors opened,Waitress was nice kept on top of things,Manager was wonderful.Gave us the soup/shrimp samples since our 1st time there.Everything Was Amazing Oyster Nachos are my Favorite but the Red Fish NOLA Was great as well ,stuffed flounder was very nice,and Fried cheesecake was super yummy.Prices were Very reasonable in comparison to other Seafood restaurants.Well Worth the 60+ mile drive

Hostess was very pleasant, very clean area. Stevie was an amazing waitress., she explained the specials that have on chalk board and the menu . Has bar, tv's, and music also offers booth or table seating. We so enjoyed our dinner and evening at Fish City Grill. I recommend anyone wanting real seafood, oysters, fish, shrimp, calamari to name a few items. Great new addition to Fort Smith dining. Will be going back soon.

For being in Arkansas, the seafood here was really good. Lots of friendly folks and very good service.

Our waitress was superb 🫂🤌🏾🥰 I mean really, she's probably the Best I've had since the pandemic, I forgot her name&misplaced my receipt but it was the night of 07FEB20222 it's was my Dad's 63rd birthday &he wanted crab legs,he was not disappointed,we were all so surprised but appreciative of the quality of flavor&food...the clam chowder cup of soup is topshelf 🤤🤤🤤🥴🥴🥴🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾💯💯💯

Excellent food and some of the best staff I've experienced in the area. My mother in law has a rare allergy (mammalian) and Bart as well as the manager on duty went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable eating here.

This is a true Fish restaurant. They have oyster bar and many fish and seafood options on the menu.

Everything I have ordered was as good as I get in New York and Washington DC at the best restaurants there.

The fish is fresh and oysters are grit free. The service is quick with a wait staff that is prompt and enjoyable.

If you have a chance to be in Fort Smith Arkansas, have a meal here and you will be glad you did.

Extremely tasty, fresh, and reasonably priced. Great portions, friendly staff. My server Leo, gave a great break down on some of the signature dishes and executed explaining the origins of the fresh seafood as well as the sides that paired well with each fish. Order the catfish!!

Food was great and service was exceptional. The waitress Reagan was awesome. Never had an empty drink and kept the table clean. The entire experience was great.

Enjoyed fantastic seafood at Fish City Grill in Fort Smith. What a truly unforgettable experience. Next time you’re in Northwest Arkansas, Fish City Grill is a must visit! 11/10!

I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. They have a full bar with different drink specials. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was delicious. As an appetizer we enjoyed calamari, which was very good, though I'm not a big fan of it. As my entree I ordered one of the special entrees, salmon taziki. The salmon was cooked to my specifications and was delicious. The quinoa salad that it was placed on was delicious as well. If you haven't been here, you should go.

This place is definitely underrated. I feel it doesn't get enough recognition. Both the food and service is excellent. I know they're known for fish, but I love their chicken. The manager is always kind and checking on his patrons, too.
