Great place for 0, S and HO Scale train options. They also have nice toy trucks and cars in their small but well curated selection of toys. My good to store to more classic toys. If you are looking for model paint they also have a nice assortment of classic Testors as well air brush paints.

I walked in and was amazed at the entire place! They have so many trains, models, and other assorted hobby supplies it's unbelievable! they have a nice model railroad set up in the middle of the one room, it's great to just stop by to see it alone!! Also the model railroad has buildings and certain replicas of local places on it.

These people are so decent and kind. We have bought and sold items. They are very fair.

Went there looking for model paint. They have a very large assortment with the colors I needed. Wasn't sure if they had plastic models but they have many. Owners are very nice and extremely helpful.

I've lived in Chicago for over 40 years and never knew this place existed. Wish I would've known of it when I was a kid. Seen it on my way to work and took my kids there. I'll be coming back soon and getting some kits.

It is worth it to pay this family run gem. They have lots of Legos too.

I come in there every so often to find houses 🏘 for my village, and they would have what I am looking for to complete it, there employees are always nice to me, help me find things that I am looking for and I just want to show the end result of what I have purchased from your store, thank you for all of your help

I'm an advanced beginner HO model railroader that was traveling in from out of town on business so I had a very limited amount of time in the store. Here's my experience : it seemed that O scale was their predominant scale that they sell; but they'd told me over the phone that they had used HO scale items, which was what I was looking for. They didn't have a lot but of what they had, they did have a good selection. Some prices were 'retail' but some were quite good - it depended on the item. I bought a hard-to-find Bachmann boxcar and a Life-Like tank car for less than what I'd have paid just for the boxcar at most train shops. If you are a parent with kids that are not quite old enough for model trains, they seem to have a good selection of other toys over on the 'toy' side of the shop. They have a (much appreciated) customer restroom with a spacious changing table that I found to be very clean. There's even a McDonalds across the street which is handy for when you have kids in need of refreshments. It's a neat little store; and the next time that I'm in Chicagoland, I'll definitely return here.

The nice men who helped my son were very helpful. He asked questions and the gave in detailed answers. Showing him how to get his Grandfather's g scake train going the way he wanted it. What he needed. Thank you.

Very good model trains. They have stuff for train enthusiasts/model railroaders, stuff for little children, and Thomas merchandise. They have HO Scale, O scale, and a little N scale. Amazing place, though I would like to see more N scale stuff. I do recommend this store though as it looks very nice, and has friendly staff and amazing stuff.
