Jewel-Osco

I recently visited Jewel Osco for a quick shopping trip, and I must say, it was quite a convenient experience. One of the standout features was the affordability of the products; I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices throughout the store.

However, the staff left a bit to be desired. Most of them appeared to be under the age of 21, which led to some delays, particularly when purchasing alcohol. Waiting for a manager's approval made the process slower than I'd hoped for.

Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall atmosphere of the store was pleasant. It had a clean and well-organized layout, which made finding items easy. The convenience of a swift and efficient shopping trip outweighed the minor hiccup with age-restricted purchases. I'd definitely consider returning to Jewel Osco for future grocery needs.

I always find everything I need at jewel. I got the 3x$15 flower deal and they personalized it for me. They flowers were beautiful and lasted a very long time. Bathrooms were very clean and cashiers were fast and friendly.

This jewel is very efficient. Orders on line are ALWAYS READY before time!!! This jewel is the BEST IN OUR AREA!! Keep up the Smiles and Great job.

Ordering online and picking up is great, if there is ever an issue, staff helps to make it right.

It's a clean well organized store, plenty of products, and the staff is always friendly. All good! Never disappointed. Still the same. I enjoy shopping there, self checkout is a plus! And the app helps a lot too!

They are always well stocked. I've never left this store not finding what I came in there for.
The lady that works in the fresh meat/ seafood department is amazing! I wish I knew her name. She always takes the utmost care in preparing and packaging whatever meat I order...usually salmon. Sometimes the presentation looks so good, I hate to open it when I get home to cook it. She also has a great personality. Always greets with a welcoming smile. I also noticed that she even ventures out from behind the counter to personally ask customers in the area if they need help. So impressive. They need to clone her and put her in every Jewel store.

Grocery stores feel so impersonal these days. Jewl-Osco is still a brand where you can trust there's a personal touch with your shopping experience. They have a bakery, deli, floral, and pharmacy. Plus a bank but I don't bank with them. Overall, if you shop here regularly you'll get to know the staff and have a real human connection versus just going to some self checkout box. Note they do have those, but they have cashiers and people to help bag your groceries too. Did I mention they have a great beer and wine selection. I highly recommend visiting this grocery for all your meal needs. Also if you need a bouquet of flowers, they have the right staff to help you out for any occasion. I definitely recommend this location!

This is seriously one of the nicest Jewel stores, ever. I love our teeny one as everyone who works there is so friendly, helpful and just incredibly neighborly. This Jewel has great workers and is just beautiful.

They also have a Chicago souvenir section so if you know anyone from out of town, show them to this Jewel near the pharmacy department. The prices of said souvenir items aren't terribly expensive, either.

One of my favorite place to grocery shop. Always a large selection. Store is always clean.

Like this local Jewel enjoy the bucket of wings all jewels be having can'tnever go wrong with that. The roses are cheap this is my to go place when it comes down to buying roses although from 9.99 they went up to 12.99 but I guess still isn't as bad like other places. The staff is also Friendly

Got to keep your looking for items ,some months they have it other times they don't know if they carry it .
So good luck . Until I find a store that orders and keep it on shelf . I guess I keep searching , so if they don't have the main things I go else where to buy the rest , until they have .

I love this Jewel customers are nice, staff is nice. It's always neat and clean. Their bakery and flowers are top notch. You should see the choices. Wow Jewel Osco out did theirselves for Easter this year. NICE JOB!!!!

Boy do I miss the Jewel that was closed in No. Riverside so it's off to Stickey we go it's extremely well stocked n clean the staff is so helpful n their sales aren't all in the flyer you will find specials throughout the store..don't go thinking all things r $1but my groceries r less when we shop throughout the store....

First I would like to acknowledge hector in the deli....amazingly friendly, he had no problem slicing the meat ordered thin and invited me back to shop there.i wish I could remember the employees names but everyone from meat to the pharmacy to check out was pleasant.

There is a lady, Lisa M. in the deli department. She's the best. Excellent customer service and very helpful. All employees are very attentive. Fresh meats and produce.

Very nice store! Clean, well laid out, friendly staff...one of the nicer Jewel lstores I have visited, and I have visited a lot of Jewels! And the discount card program is pretty awesome, so sign up for it if you have not already done so!

Never been in 1 of these stores. I visited it while I was in Chicago. It was a nice clean and a big store. Prices was good but employees was not to friendly or helpful.
