Berwyn Fruit Market

Probably the best place to get fruits in the area. Their prices are reaaally good, even if occasionally they leave out certain fruits a few days past their prime. People don’t seem to understand that fruits do, in fact, go bad when not exposed to chemical toxins. The selection of everything else is very decent, and products tend to use higher quality ingredients.

I seldom shop but every time I go there I love it. You can find what you need and things you never thought you need. It is a great place for finding things that are good fresh fruits.

Still the same! Moved away in 1995 but we still buy Krakus ham every time we get back to Berwyn! Great deals, and lots of ethnic food choices.

Love this place especially the butchers. They are well stocked with pretty much everything you need.

I've been going here since the 1970's! Back then the store was a little shack, but I remember the owner would always give me an apple or other piece of fruit every time our family would shop there. They've always had great prices (especially on top-quality deli meats etc), fresh fruit, and ethnic items that would normally be kind of difficult to find. Now they even have delicious Mexican hot foods too which are awesome! The deli staff are patient, and always get my order correct (and I can be a bit of a Karen with what I want)! This place is a real treasure - if you haven't been there, you should definitely go and explore the place - they have a lot more than first meets the eye; and don't be afraid to try new things!

They always have fresh bread every single time I go there they never fail me. Also the meat is great. Very underrated

If you want Mexican groceries and produce, there is no better place to shop in the Chicago area. The selection is amazing, the prices low and the fresh produce perfect. Plus, there are a wealth of imported foods from Europe too. In hard times, this store is a delight and a necessity.

Me and my dad went to this store for the first time and a woman,I think her name was Hilda, was SUPER kind and helpful. She mad sure that are things were placed well and in order. She was really easy going and knew what she was doing.She didn’t hesitate in doing her job and that is so awesome about her. She was also very friendly to an elderly that was in front of us, she helped the man with placing everything correctly and making sure that he was good. The elder man looked so happy with her being there to help him.She was so friendly and she made us feel EXTREMELY welcomed into the store. I recommend that when you are finally checking out, to go to the blonde lady. Thank you for being extremely helpful, we really appreciate it.

My local spot for fresh produce s d meat. Check the meat department for already season taco meats, easy night of cooking for the family.

For fresh fruits and vegetables, and meat, the prices are very competitive. The vegetables and fruits are usually ripe, very ripe - -use them soon. If you don't like to cook using fresh ingredients, skip this place entirely and go to Jewel or Aldi's or someplace with a vast selection of frozen, prepared entrees.

Great place for groceries, lunch meat deli, produce hot food all there stuff is excellent.. grew up going to this fruit market they need to make it bigger .. ;^D

Love this place. My dad worked here when he was younger. So it'll always be one of my hometown fovorites.

They always have a wonderful variety of fresh produce and meats. They carry specialty items that I can only get there. The staff is always friendly. I do wish they had a bit more space everything feels cramped but either way it's worth it.

Good deli counter. I purchase the rotisserie chickens often (always great)
so are the other cooked items they serve. Lots of choices for cheeses and lunchmeat too.

Great store! Been going here for a while and I truly have a great experience, prices are affordable and top tier food.
