Familia Fresh Market Berwyn

It's a great grocery store with huge selection of groceries, chips, edibles, drinks, meats, and also liquor it's definitely worth the stop their prizes are AMAZING and I'm not just saying that a small example they give 15 lemons for $1 or arancherra meat for only 7 dollars a pound that's damn near stolen compared to other stores where it's always 15 and up quick service and they have just about anything you need edible or drinkable the only inconvenience is that it's right across the street from a hospital so sometimes traffic is a little high but besides that it is a great store I definitely recommend it I couldn't believe how much I got for my money 👍👍

Love their juice bar. Also their el pastor is so good. Last time also tried their cactus salad and go there on weekends to get their carnitas. You'll like this place

Mi casa su casa…Familia! A very good place to go for grocery, friendly staff & i really like their elotes. Im not being CORNy! But it does taste good.

Great local grocery store. Although selection is limited it’s very convenient to run in for produce or milk.

They sell delicious homemade food. The fruits and vegetables are very high quality.

Best market around. I ride the train there. The market is only about 200 feet from the train platform. The girls that work there are ALL so beautiful and pleasant. I often make an excuse to take a train ride there even if I need nothing except a smile.

I can always find what i need here. And the Bonus is it's never too overcrowded. Find fresh fruit or tender meat cuts of all types. Registers move quickly and you will be in and out in no time.

It is beyond a grocery with many cooked products not found elsewhere. The fruits and vegetables are beautiful and well displayed.

Love the Tamale bar, especially the Jalapeno and Cheese ones. We also get there when the locally made tortillas are being delivered and still warm in their boxes. Great produce selection as well.

I Needed help purchasing a food basket in this Mexican themed supermarket. A staff member dropped everything and walked me up and down every aisle. This family market place in Berwyn was clean and well staffed. The produce and deli foods were fresh and very competitively priced. Would recommend. Do not bypass hot tamale stand beside exit

Fresh variety of produce and friendly service!

Today we got some Menudo and Tamales
this morning and the Carnitas. The food was spot on. The Rams are always good.
Not a lot of Masa and the flavor is pretty good.

Most surprisingly, a very well stocked, well kept establishment. Things are laid out so there is great way to get to your items and avoid bumping into each other. The produce always looks fresh. Shelves clean and organized. Check out person very nice and polite and well trained.

This place is my favorite grocery store in the area, I live in Cicero and have 4 grocery stores just a few steps away from my place but they just can't compete with Familia Fresh, I can't find a better place than this one, store is always clean and organized, I also used to shop my food at Berwyn Fruit Market but every time I went there they were moping the floors no matter at what time I went but the store was always dirty and unorganized, Familia Fresh Market is way better in all senses, fruits and meats are always fresh and they have better affordable prices than any other small market in the area. Only issue is the guys behind the counter in the meat department (butchers) they do not always give you what you ask for (Example: You ask for 1 pound of shrimp they offer you a sealed bag with 2 pounds of frozen, you tell them you want it fresh they respond is the same shrimp, you tell them you only need one pound they give you 1.5, lol) I'm still giving them 5 stars because all other employees are great as well as the store in general.

Always very well stocked with everything you would expect from a hispanic grocery store including a butcher shop. All the prepared foods are always fresh & delishious. Fresh baked lofes of bread and Mexican sweet bread/pastries "Pan Dulce". Consider making Familia a regular stop. Support local shops.

Tamales are Delish! Lines can get long in early hours and around lunch time.

I just love this store. It's well stocked, and clean. The employees are kind, careing and very helpful. It's a enjoyable shopping experience. Thank you Familia. By the way Familia means family and they treat you like family should.

The people there are so nice, they helped me find everything I needed to find. There was a Cashier named Dyana who kept a smiled through my entire transaction and even made my friend and I laugh. Definitely felt the family vibes, will be coming more often!

Love this grocery store hot food really good n reasonably priced n u have try their freshly made buns they're 5 for $2 I'm sure u will have eaten 2 before u get home. Provided you sanitized ur hands first. Produce n meats are really fresh..

I've been shopping at Marianos in Westchester but the food quality and service has gotten so bad that I had to find someplace else. I went here last week, and I was so impressed! The store is clean, items are stocked and not expired, a wide variety of fruits and veggies that are still good... I think I've finally found my new grocery store! I wish they sold spirits, but it's not the end of the world. Also the girls at the checkout counters were a little slow and kept leaving to talk to people in the aisles, but that was hopefully just a one time thing. I'll continue to go here unless something changes.
