I use Valley Fresh regularly and am always impressed with the cleanliness of the store and that the shelves are stocked before customers come in. Kelly who works at checkout is always a joy to see, and the meat department people are very attentive. It’s the people that make the experience exceptional

The sushi bar Chef knows me on sight, and always has an extra dip cup with eel sauce ready for me. He makes me feel very welcomed and special! In fact all the personnel in the store are very nice, friendly, and overall pleasant.

You have to check out the Sushi bar inside this store the Zen Zone is amazing fresh Sushi made every day. They are always adding new items to their menu and can customize dishes on request. I just tried their Shrimp bowl omg fantastic so fresh you get a large amount of shrimp on top of shredded carrots lettuce and rice with avocado and the sauce is to die for a must try for anyone who is hungry and wants something healthy and fresh

Love this local market and all that is offered; fair prices, coffee/juice bar, fresh produce and meat, the best and most fresh deli in the valley, fresh BBQ and the most friendliest and helpful employees ever. We're visiting in the area and stopped in to pick up a few items. The things we needed (a dozen eggs, milk and bread) were all on sale. The deli and fresh vegetables sections were all well stocked. Staff was friendly. Restroom was clean.

Friendly staff. Sushi bar is beyond delicious. Coffee bar is fantastic. Fresh meat cuttings. Quick grab and go sandwiches + hot bar. All your grocery needs one shop stop!

I like to stop here in my way home. The prices are better than Albertsons in Buellton. And they have an amazing hot bar.

I enjoy how they cook there ribs and tri-tip over open flame. The hot bar is pretty decent. I love the soda station. Everyone who works here seems to be friendly and helpful. I like spending my money where I'm treated well.

Nice deli section with everything from Sushi to BBQ.

If you're in Solvang on the weekend and looking for Tri-tip, hit up Valley Fresh around noon. You'll get a classic, oak wood cooked Santa Maria style Tri-tip. You can ask them for more rare or medium–they might not have the exact temp you're looking for but I've been lucky more times than not. And you can ask them to slice it thinner or thicker. The mashed potatoes are often just like the homemade classic, simple and tasty.

The fresh juices at the coffee and juice bar are customizable and really good.

The employees are awsome they always give great customer service this is my second time coming here and I will be back

Always a pleasure to shop here! BEAUTIFUL produce! Excellent meat & imported cheeses. Even fresh sushi being prepared. Knowledgable staff. Just WISH they carried some liver pate's... 😔

First visit was Saturday. Blown away with everything about this market. Wish I lived closer so we could make it our local store, but currently living in A.G. Was expecting the prices to be high, but found them to be way better than in our area. Will absolutely stop there every time we're in the area. GREAT JOB ON THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!!!!

Great place to shop. In the last year it has changed and really become an amazing store. During the COVID 19 shelter in olace orders they worked so hard to keep it clean and stocked. They were goving out free toilet paper at one point when all the stores were out. Love this place and the bew ownership has taken it to a great store. Highly recommend this place over the other Valley options.

It was great...found some what is called brontoribs...thick and meaty ...great sandwiches...good wines...be going back 4 sure...gotta get some really good fresh made sandwiches and BBQ meats...bbq on site..great salad bar...sushi..lots of snacks to take wine tasting also

While visiting Solvang, we went to the deli to try the BBQ that was being smoked outside. BBQ was delicious! Only on Tuesday and Wednesdays. Tri-tip, Ribs, Chicken and sides. Get the tri-tip chili beans, meaty and "made with love" 😋

This place is a great grocery store. Wonderful beer and wine selection. The hot case is also amazing with fantastic cold sandwiches too.
