An adorable store with so much to offer! I was looking for a bird house to purchase as a gift & this was the PERFECT place for that! They had around 40-50 unique birdhouse styles to chose from, all hand crafted by a man from Southern Illinois, I believe.
The entire staff was eager to help & Diane did an amazing job making sure my gift was securely/beautifully packaged. 100% recommend for personal hobby need & gifting needs! Thank you ☺

Love this store. If you're a bird lover you need to visit this place. Staff are all knowledgeable about merchandise and can help you choose what is right to attract birds to your feeders. You won't be disappointed in this store.

Went there today to take a picture with a sloth!!!! It was totally Awesome!!! And we bought a couple humming bird feeders, yes they cost more than the ones at Walmart. However this one is easier to use and keep clean!!! Plus they carry braclets for animals and it let's you track where your shark is at!! Mine is in Florida right now, how cool is that!!!

We finally defeated the squirrels with their recommended squirrel proof feeder. Our squirrels are very persistent but have been unable to defeat this feeder. A little pricy but worth it when you think of how much birdseed the squirrels eat. They have learned to hang out below and eat what’s scattered by the birds. Thank you!!

I have never learned so much about my feathered friends until I walked into this incredible store.

Ellen and her staff of the WBU Joliet, are magnificent. They are all so knowledgeable, so incredibly helpful, kind and so friendly... I have such a new appreciation for my feathered guests that visit my yard... I even bought a book to learn more about them...
I love my birds and my pain in the butt squirrel, yes he/shevlast year ate all my corn off the stalks and tore up my fall display, so this year, I decided that I should find what he/she likes from WBU, and of course Ellen was so on the spot... I bought corn cobs and peanuts yesterday, laid out that afternoon, and this morning, well I had one tickled pink squirrel, seriously if I got this reaction on video, you would be laughing, it was like he/ she just won the lottery, and was so thankful for the food and a few of the corn cobs I placed out there... I love it...
I know you can buy seed from other place, but this store is so unique, and perfect for just having a small feeder to help our feathered-friends... I started with 1 and now have 4 feeders, and a beautiful place for water for my feathered friends... I'm trying to figure out where to put water for them in the winter, since I don't have electricity close by. Thank you WBU WILD BIRDS UNLIMITED!!! I ❤ your store and your incredible staff at the Joliet location...

Wanted to say thank you again for all the help I received on selecting a great Oriole feeder to give to my mom. Got it up the third week of April and she's had two pairs of Orioles staying in her yard ever since!!

Wild Bird Unlimited in Joliet is actively engaging with the community and brings out great events for their customers, like hiring Incrediblebats, Inc to give an exotic animal presentation! Rico the sloth, Fiona the Fennec Fox, Armando the armadillo and Togo the African Fruit Bat along with many other animals were brought out recently to a well attended crowd of animal lovers!

New owners in store and they no longer have the storage but they do have a great plan called Daily Savings Club. 25$ a year and you get 15% off seed everytime you come in. On average a 70$ a year savings and some times even more.

So pleased with my most recent visit here! I came in for advice and some feed. After making the suggested changes everything has improved!! The squirrels are staying on their feeder, the Bluejays have returned, and my smaller bird feeders are staying full longer so they are available for the birdies instead of thr squirrels. So happy!

Absolutely loved it! I went to the store to try and find a birdfeeder gift. I was overwhelmed by all the different items. I was looking for a bird feeder but found so much more! I was there with my little ones who find cute little things to buy. They were so kind to us as well! I will absolutely be back for future gift purchasing! The store was very well organized and extremely tidy. I highly recommend checking it out.

This store is wonderful. It has a huge selection of gifts and yard ornaments but the bird houses/ baths are incredible. The staff is super nice and welcoming. If you love watching the birds through your windows you should definitely stop in here. Also a great place to shop for mothers days gifts. Lots of unique things.

They definitely know their stuff! I mentioned how I used to get a ton of Goldfinchs in my yard and I have not been able to get them back for about 3 years. The lady gave me a free bag of their nyger to try and asked if worked to please shop there. Omg!!! Within days I had Goldfinchs EVERYWHERE!!! And they like that nyger so much that when I run out, which a 20lb bag lasts 2 weeks, they sit in the tree waiting!!!! Looking down in a most disapproving manner!

Not only do they have amazing quality birdseed, but the cutest bird/wildlife themed gift shop! I am so happy to have discovered this store! I'm a dedicated customer for life now!

Very nice place to go for bird supplies. You may pay a little more here but the quality of the seed and feeders is much better. The staff is very helpful and will answer any questions you may have about seed or feeders or just general bird questions.

I love this store in Joliet! All their bird and critter food is shipped fresh and priced reasonable. Plus they have a great supply of feeders as well as a great variety of gifts all year long.

Very nice store! Very friendly and helpful people I bought a bird bath for my daughter's housewarming gift hopefully she loves it if not she has a gift receipt which was nice!
