Heroes West Sports Grill

Food was good. I got their chicken wings dry rub and thoroughly enjoyed them. They were large and lots of flavor. So were their nachos. I took a picture of them half eaten 😆 The cheese curds were different then I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor!

Fantastic service and everything was delicious. Some of the prices are high but the portions are very large. You definitely get your money's worth.

The food was delicious. We had the chicken and waffles and it was the best we've had in a long time. Everything was good and we had a friendly server as well. I would recommend this place for the food and lively atmosphere. Lots of tvs and sporting events to watch. If your looking for a quiet place this isn't it, but they do have a back room area that is nice for large groups and parties separate from the rest of the restaurant. They also have a large full size bar with plenty to choose from.

Fresh food! So delicious! Plenty of tvs for game days! Great bartenders! Love visiting jess behind the bar and Melissa! If you get a table and have kids with you ask for Aaron! He is great!

Haven’t been to Heroes in a while, but the next visit will be sooner. Menu is broad with a good variety of appetizers. We had the buffalo rolls which is an egg roll with Buffalo chicken and cheese- very good! For entrees we had the Macon bacon burger, ribeye sandwich, southwest wrap, and a Buffalo chicken wrap. We also had the chips, waffle fries, onion rings, and natural cut fries. Everything was very good. A bit too much sauce for our taste on the Buffalo wrap, but some people like it that way. Atmosphere is “sports bar” with several TVs throughout.

We dined in tonight. Our server, Aaron, was super attentive, friendly and polite throughout our whole visit. He was great! I have dietary restrictions that limit what I can eat and also like my food a certain way. Both mine and my husband's orders were not only prepared perfectly, but so incredibly flavorful! The entire evening was great and we will definitely be returning. They really outdid themselves and we are grateful, tired parents that really enjoyed our night out!

I was part of a party of 4 at 5:30 on Saturday 9/16/23. From the moment we were greeted by the host to the moment we left, it was a pleasurable experience. Both couples ordered the ribs which were hearty and delicious; our sides were hot and fresh along with the unique, flavor filled, square cheese curds for starters. We also found room for the baked onion soups which got to our table steaming hot still. Our server was very attentive and kept us topped off in our drinks.
The entire experience was excellent and I look forward to telling my friends all about Heroes West. Until the next time……

I initially wanted to stop at this place because I thought it was a Hooters. This is not a Hooters but the food is so much better! My server Mandy best one that I've had yet! Great recommendations great service made sure that we were always okay. The environment to the whole restaurant was great not a big sports fan but caught myself watching baseball boxing and also MMA. Great place to stop at believe me you won't regret.

The Buffalo chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce tasted good and had just enough zing to it, homemade potato chips could have been fried a little more. Service was nice and the restaurant was clean. Recommended.

Greeted within 30 seconds, sat within 5 minutes. Great wings, they had a beer special. I got wings, beer and a burger and fries for $30. Waitress was super fast, nice and friendly! Great cold beer and delicious food! I went on a random Wednesday night so the had no major sports hallelujah but this would be an amazing bar during a big sports event!! I will defibrillator go back when I'm in town again and I look forward to trying more options!

Best chicken wings on Wednesday within 25 miles. Best blue cheese dressing for the Buffalo wings in northern Illinois. The wife and I split a salad w/ chicken & split a rib eye sandwich at least once a month, sometimes twice a month. The waffle fries are GREAT. I wish they had 2 or 3 more wing sauce flavors.

Everything about this place is amazing! The food is great!! Service is amazing!! The manager, Candace, was one of the most personable and engaging people I’ve ever met! She took care of all our needs and even played the claw game with my youngest daughter! Won her a few stuffed toys as well!!

Would recommend this place to anyone!!

Had ribs, mashed potatoes and broccoli and it was great. Very reasonable prices but more importantly the exceptionally delightful bartender Candice made our meal and beers considerably more pleasant. Candice was efficient, a good conversationalist and attentive to our needs. If all the staff at Heroes West are half as nice it will be our go to bar and grill.

Always clean! Upbeat atmosphere.Various seating (high tops) tables, booths and bar. Best service anywhere! Michelle is the BEST! Food is awesome (especially Mac and cheese) Great burger! Rib eye is excellent! Ribs, fabulous!! Healthy portions of food. Drinks are tasty …… NOT filled with ice. You actually get what you pay for here. The only thing lacking are biscuits or free fresh bread. Garlic bread on the menu is very good though.

A stop on our way somewhere else and a good stop it was. Was told they no longer do beer flights 😞. Food was good and did have a decent beer selection but didn't see a stout for the wife.

The Buffalo Chicken salad was tasty and filling. Others raved about their burgers and lunch special sandwiches - Turkey & avocado and Cuban.

Visiting my old home state, had a sister, daughter last dinner out. Been here b4,all we ordered was good, Tomato basil soup, baked Fr Onion Soup and the chili. All were hot and tasty!
I also had the BLT, the bacon was to die for, very easy to bite. My daughter had the spicy chicken wrap w/ranch. We also had the Patty Melt! All the food was great, mmm, the onion rings were dee-licious!!

Heroes is a great place all around. Food and service are always top notch! I've had multiple events here and even my wedding. Candace, the banquet manager is awesome to work with! She made planning a breeze, everything looked amazing, food was delicious, and we all had a rocking good time.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town! The food is always delicious and they have tons of drink options! The manager Candace has always been very helpful when I’ve needed to ask questions about the ingredients in certain dishes due to my son’s food allergies. I’ve also attended a wedding reception in the Events area- what a nice surprise! I had been eating there for many years but had no idea they could host large events! Highly recommend!

The few issues I had early on were fixed immediately. The hostess was nice and friendly, the server was polite, friendly, and totally on point. The food was amazing.
