I don’t know a lot about wine but wanted to bring something to a party that would make it seem like I did. :)

The staff was SO friendly and knowledgeable and walked me through many unique options at all price ranges.

I’ve been other places that look down on you if you don’t speak “wine language” My experience at Unwined was completely opposite of that! I got the best recommendations really enjoyed my shopping experience there.

I felt confident about the selections I brought to the party and also picked up some fantastic craft beers and some gourmet foods to try.

I will definitely be back! This is a great place to run into if you need to grab a gift for someone as well.

Everyone here always really nice, great wine and beer selection, good spread of Virginia wines. Knowledgeable staff. They have a database so they can keep track of what you’ve bought before. Highly recommend !

Fantastic small wine shop. Very high end wine, cheeses and accessories. Small selection of fine luxury candles that are amazing. The service here is excellent and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about thier products. The shop specializes in fine wines from the smaller vineyards. Thier selection includes wines from local Virginia, California, other parts of the US, and around the world.

Frequent customer here. This place is outstanding and feels like part of the community. They have an excellent selection of carefully curated wine (plus premium beer/cigars!) and have never steered me wrong with a recommendation.

Unwined is my one-stop shop for wine, beer and unique bites. The staff is great and both stores are spectacular. The Belle View tasting bar is top notch. I often just go in and ask for a specific type of wine and let the staff member choose. I have never been disappointed.

Just discovered through Untappd. Visited the beer selection this visit. A large number of wines, a cigar selection and other items I will explore in the future. I came to check out the beer selection. They have a wide variety of styles from multiple breweries. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful and introduced a number of recent brews and styles. I look forward to going back!

Great customer experience and thoughtful store associate. Today I called to request delivery of a birthday gift basket with a bottle of wine (and other goodies) to my girlfriend. Barbara helped me select a custom gift basket for my friend, as she’s a vegetarian and needed to substitute a couple of items, and even wrote a personal note on my behalf. She was sweet enough to text me pictures of the basket before & after wrapping. The presentation was beautiful, and my best friend texted me that she loved it. Looking forward to shopping there again the next I’m in Old Town.

Moving to the area soon and had to find a good wine shop! This is it!! Had a lovely time chatting with the ladies there, sampled a few great reds, and came home with three new finds I can't wait to try. Great spot with a great selection!

The staff was very knowledgeable and answered customers' specific questions about the wines. They had a great selection of craft beer and wine that you can't find other places. Their little gifts, crackers, chocolates, etc. we're unique and many were locally produced. Can't wait to come back for some special occasion treats or gifts.

Fair prices, fantastic selection from a casual bottle for dinner to a special event. We always learn something when we stop by, and they will work with you to find the perfect gift, or your next favorite bottle, from $13 to.... If you're going to buy wine from a grocery store for $12 and it's a total random guess, stop by here instead and significantly increase the chances you're going to love it!

Vanessa and the staff are amazing. My husband and i are casual wine drinkers...we drink what we love, and we like to learn about wine but, but it's not what I'd call a hobby by any means. We've never felt like we couldn't ask a basic question, nor have we ever had someone be condescending as I've experienced at other shops. They truly just love good wine and want to share it!

Just checked this place out for the first time after moving in nearby. What a lovely shop, with a surprisingly broad selection and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. This will definitely be a neighborhood go-to.

We make a habit of visiting UnWined in the Bradlee Shopping Center once a month on the last Sunday (like today; we'll be going when they open), the one day a month when they offer a 20% discount when you pay with cash or check.

They are a small wine shop but have a FANTASTIC selection of wines from around the world, although my little group focuses mostly on the Bordeaux, Cotes du Rhone and Bourgogne regions primarily. While they focus on the mid- to high-range, their prices are quite reasonable and you get a real quality bang-for-the-buck. Indeed, I have bought wines there for $28 that tasted better than some wines I have tried that cost $700/bottle.

The staff is very friendly without being aggressive, and extremely knowledgeable without exhibiting even the slightest evidence of haughtiness, even treating customers with as finely-honed ignorance of wine as my own with respect and consideration, with suggestions well-targeted to what they have learned to be my personal tastes and my tragic "BMW guy constrained to drive a Hyundai" budget.

They hold classes. I have not attended any yet, but the friend I go with has and values them highly. Unlike me, he is a genuine wine connoisseur with a finely-tuned palate, but he holds the staff there in the highest regard and finds their classes worthwhile even for him.

One of the only problems with the place is that, when you buy a wine you really like and want more of, they are usually sold out of it by the time you return. Oh, well, I guess you can't have everything.

Their prices are quite reasonable and they have never yet steered me wrong. What more can one ask of a wine shop?

This is not your typical wine shop. Everytime I stop in, I seem to find a new favorite! The selection is pure quality, and they have a large selection of interesting wines that are off the beaten path. It's dangerous to live so close!

This is my favorite place to shop. The staff is friendly and recognizes me. Visit on the weekends for tastings almost all day long. If you are looking for cheap wines, look for the discount rack in the back-right corner.

Wonderful associates! Very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. Everything is hand selected with purpose, which makes it an enjoyable shopping experience.
