The people working there all had great attitudes and were happy to see you!

Fairly fast check out!
But most of all great selection in every corner!

I truly enjoyed my visit and will be returning!

I am updating my review to a 5 from a 3 because while my review still stands it’s important to point out that the fresh market does not advertise as your regular grocery store but as a specialty store and this is now my third or fourth visit and they keep a very clean store and they also have amazing items you can’t find at your regular grocery store. I was so happy to find some items that I only found at home at my local markets in New York City. They have an eclectic beverage section like no other!

I love The Fresh Market especially as I often just shop for myself and appreciate the meat market that allows me to get exactly what I want. The prices can be steep the the quality is wonderful. The deli has a nice selection as does the bulk aisle. Very nice wine department. The staff is always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

I love the selection of fresh produce and bread, and harder to find spices. I appreciate the service also. My favorites are Ahna and Lily, who are both helpful, friendly, and kind. Will be sure to return again and again.

I would like to commend one of your employees at the Fresh Market location. I frequently visit the Alexandria Virginia establishment and recently had an encounter with a remarkable employee in the kitchen. She was busy washing dishes and preparing roasted chicken salad. What caught my attention was her assertiveness when she took charge of the situation after I asked one of the gentlemen, who seemed occupied with his phone and iPad, for assistance. This gentleman, an Hispanic man absorbed in his iPad, was asked by the employee to help the customers, as there were about five of us waiting. However, when I approached her to seek help with a stuck nut, she promptly came out from the kitchen and assisted me in removing it. She even went a step further and offered me a taste of some of her favorite dishes. As she apologized for her colleagues that was just heart melting.

While waiting for my turn in line, she prioritized taking the orders of the others before attending to me, as I had entered last. She requested the assistance of the aforementioned gentlemen, but they were rather unhelpful. The Hispanic man, who claimed to be her boss, rudely refused to cooperate and left, engrossed in his loud iPad, as I overheard. Additionally, the tall African man was too occupied with his phone conversation to lend a hand. Despite facing these challenges, the employee continued to offer complete meals at affordable prices. She cleverly came up with amusing names for the dishes, showcasing her wit and personality.

Although I cannot recall her name, she mentioned that people often struggle to remember it and suggested referring to her as "pretty" or "linda" in Spanish. In my opinion, she deserves recognition as one of the outstanding employees at Fresh Market. I have since become a regular consumer of their meals, despite being primarily a burger enthusiast. The employee mentioned something about a combo meal, which perfectly sums up their offerings, the way she offered I didn't even noticed the price. Her dedication to customer service surpasses all expectations, and she goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.

Curious about her employment history, I asked her why she left Amazon Fresh kitchen, where she mentioned being a newcomer at the Fresh Market. As a CEO myself, I find it perplexing when talented individuals do not remain with their employers. She revealed that she and her colleagues, including the managers, didn't like her, but I see nothing about her not to like, she's seems genuinely nice. But her kindness smile says she didn't understand why, I can understand why she made such an impact on the people there. She assured me that she has no intention of pursuing higher positions or causing any stress in her life, as she takes mental illness medications. It's disheartening to know that good employees leave companies due to poor management. and how some people with some type of mental disability can be such kind person. I wonder what happened to her...

I sincerely hope that I will continue to see her cheerful demeanor in the kitchen. I highly recommend Fresh Market's meals as they offer a healthier option for those seeking a delicious alternative. Who ever hired her needs a credit as well.

I love the deli options and the rosemary and rotisserie chicken, can't go wrong. The crab cakes are to die for and can't go wrong with the wine options. Plus there's other great stores nearby such as Starbucks, ABC, sushi place, grocery store and nail spot, Just a lot of great business within walking distance.

Excellent. But I need your help. I need to buy pine nuts and I found them in a bag where the spices are sold. I need to know that the pine nuts are NOT made in China. Package says it's organic. Please respond soon.

Nice store, similar to other high end grocery stores with lots of specialty and prepared items. Expensive, but nice if that is the experience you are after.

Great selection of quality & organic foods. Also carry gluten free & have a great selection of produce & premade foods. Good competitor to Whole Foods with cheaper prices.

Roxanne was very helpful. They have wonderful sales on nice teas, sushi, water, canned seafood, and a couple items flavors that not many stores carry in kombucha and lattes. Their carrot cake bar is a tasty treat for anyone who likes carrot cake, as well at a reasonable price for the high quality. They take orders on any item, for those that live a bit aways.

Went there with a friend. Didn't find what I wanted but did leave with Walker cookies. Fresh Market is clean and the staff is nice but there are two problems I encounter when I visit any location. The selection isn't that good, I never find what I was looking for, and the prices are kind of high. Now, they are selling high-end products so, yeah, the prices are going to be high. I am still giving them 5 stars out of 5 because that's just the way they are.

I love having the Fresh Market a 10 minute drive away. I have always enjoyed this chain and this location does not disappoint. Fresh, organized and great food. They have great meal kits in the produce section. If you’re going for these kits, make sure to get there earlier rather than later. I’ve noticed that by 6-7pm on weekdays, they run out of a few popular options. Highly recommend this chain over Whole Foods, Safeway or Harris Teeter! I would say it’s comparable to the quality of food at Whole Foods but much cheaper. It’s also a nicer version of Trader Joe’s.

The produce and prepared items like salads and sushi are all very fresh and delicious. They have a great selection of seafood and meats as well. The staff are also very nice.

I used to shop here a lot but somehow forgot about it, but it is my new standard!

Still the best quality and price for chicken breasts every Tuesday! Love the quality of their meat and poultry. Great produce section! Bulk nuts... can't find that everywhere. Like all grocery markets, you just need to keep an eye on their ads to know when to get the best prices. Been a satisfied customer for 5 years!

We love this place. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I'd say the prices are pretty normal for a nice No. Va supermarket ( but *less* than Whole Foods, in my experience). The produce is beautiful with a pretty decent selection of pesticide-free organic items as well. Great selections of meat, fish, bread, cheeses... Wonderful, fresh, moist cakes and cupcakes. Great coffees, teas, spices, snacks, beer, wine. The service has been consistently pleasant and helpful, and there's just something very welcoming about the atmosphere. It has warmer lighting or something than the average supermarket. They also regularly give out $10 coupons for your next purchase-- not the usual crappy coupons only for specific foods you would never want to buy. Anyway, we were a little skeptical when we heard the hype about it, but we actually look forward to going here! It's definitely a welcome addition to the area.

Nice clean store with upscale grocery options. Lots of healthy products to choose from. One draw back is the limited prepackaged meats. You almost have to go to the meat counter to get your meat, poultry, and seafood choices. You do get what you pay for and the high quality items have comparable higher quality prices.

I absolutely love this store! The Little Big Meal is an amazing bargain. Their USDA prime steaks are a steal when they go on sale. The bakery is always on point, as well as the deli salads. Even though some items may be a bit steep, the deals are great, and the atmosphere makes shopping there a pleasant experience.

Great store! Yes it is expensive but the service is great. My son apps here all the time and we came here several times during our visit. The fruits and veggies were fresh and there was a wide variety. The guy at the seafood counter was very helpful. My only issue was the lack of Diet Coke- which is hard to call a whole food.

It’s a great market. Staff are generally quite friendly. Clean. And everything looks so appetizing. Don’t shop here when you’re hungry — you’ll want to buy the entire store up!

I love this store, especially their lemon pound cake. They have a great selection of fruits and veggies as wall as cooked food. A bit on the expensive side, but it’s definitely worth it.
