Great selection and helpful staff. The variety is great and I found what I was looking for. Wanted some strange/gross things to do as a taste test on stream. They also had a bunch other interesting things for sale besides candy and soda.

What a gem of a shop and such a variety! Loved finding soda that I didn't think I'd ever find outside of my hometown in the Midwest and discovering new candies from around the world. Such a nice shop and owner. Fill up your stockings!

What’s not to love about a candy store?! I was so excited for this place to open, and they have yet to disappoint. Although I don’t go here for the soda, they do have a massive selection of interesting/ubique, classic, and odd flavors.

I come for the candy, and they have an awesome selection. I love how you can find candies from across the globe, and that it their offerings don’t break the bank. Everything is so reasonably priced. They also switch up their selection too, so keep your eyes peeled for new stuff.

WOW! What a hidden gem this place is! We popped in on a stormy summer night waiting on our Chinese food, a few doors down.

There is a sign on the door that only allows service animals. The owner was so kind to allow my family and I in with my ESA.

Shopping here will make you feel like a kid. It has the coolest pop and candy. You'll fall in love here and can't wait to go back!

It was such a blast to visit this store for the first time! There are SO MANY different kinds of soda — I've never seen such variety. If you want a bottled Shirley Temple, a non-branded Butterbeer, or Mexican Coke, they've got those… but also really out-there stuff like marshmallow soda, bacon soda, or even dirt-flavored!! Plenty of types of diet soda too.

The candy is a fun add-on, but there are a lot of candy stores in this world. Soda stores are much harder to come by!

Rocket Fizz has got everything you need if you're looking for candy, snacks, or soft drinks for someone who's picky and hard to please. The proprietor was super friendly and helpful. I found my wife some weird black licorice from Australia... which she absolutely loves. Highly recommend.

Great spot for stocking stuffers—mind-boggling variety of sodas, especially root beer.

Adorable little candy and pop shop in Fairlington. Literally more flavors of pop than I ever imagined could exist. Staff are friendly and very helpful - don't hesitate to ask if you need help finding things, there's a lot here! Great for gifts or treating yourself, and I'm sure bringing a kid in here would be like heaven for them. Prices are very reasonable!

They have a huge variety of candies and sodas here. They also do sell pick a mix but it's per bag and it's pretty pricey a small bag is $10 a large bag is $12. But I do enjoy the fact that they stock sodas other than just the rocket fizz branded sodas like I can get Sprecher sodas here, for more reasonable price than most places in the area. Other soda brands are over priced, like much of there candy. That said they are home of the hard to find. I come here on the regular so I do like it, even though it's overpriced.

Great place for all ages, especially if you have a sweet tooth! They have an amazing selection of candy and soda! They have flavors of soda you could only dream of! They have tons of candy, from old time favorites to new and exciting rarities. If they don't carry something you're interested in seeing feel free to ask and they will look to see if its still made / available. Again, a great place!!

I called Rocket Fizz in Alexandria from Roanoke Virginia looking for Special Reserve Root Beer made by Indian Wells Brewing Company in California. I was seeking it for a Christmas gift for a long time friend who had recently gone through treatment for neck cancer and proclaimed it the best root beer he had ever had. Tonya, the manager, returned my call and said they didn’t normally ship sodas but said she would give it a try. Two days later I had a case of root beer delivered by Fed Ex. I can’t thank Tonya and Rocket Fizz enough for making it happen. Thank you!

What a fun place. A dream of a candy store with every candy and soda you could possibly remember from your childhood. Combined with a fun collection of reprinted retro signs and posters. If you are anywhere near it, drive by and drop in. Your sweet tooth, funny bone and inner child will thank you.

An adorable shop full of cool candy and lots of craft sodas, with an especially wide selection of rootbeer, cream soda, and ginger beers. (I especially like the Bundaberg ginger beer from Australia.) There were clever gift baskets that would make fun hostess or office gifts and more taffy flavors than I've ever seen!

This is a little out of the way for us since we are coming from Chantilly but it's worth the trip.

A nice little shop to find unique soda pop and sweets. Very kind staff. Only downside is the small parking lot. Otherwise, a fun visit!
