Tony's Fresh Market

My husband and I love this store. It really overshadows every grocery store in the joliet area. The store is clean, well lit, spacious, and welcoming. The selection of all items is abundant. They offer all kinds of fresh and hot foods, drinks, and deli items as well.. oh and Sushi.

I find this Tony's has a better selection than the Plainfield store. Sale items are available due to larger stock. I find there produce to be high quality as well.

Do not shop here while you are hungry! The minute you walk in you will smell so many delicious warm foods, there are so many choices! Impossible to pass up!! Everything in this store is just displayed perfectly, hot foods, meats, the fruit/vegetable section looks perfect every time I shop! So glad to see Tony's at this location!

I love Tony's. There is a young man who works self checkout he is always helpful,respectful and kind. I told him he was my favorite person. Tony's has fresh fruit and vegetables and the store is clean I go here atleast once a week. I am glad they put this store here it is very convenient. By the way I think that young man should get a raise🙂

Tjey have a good selection of meats. Also, I like their wings. I really dislike the aguachiles that they sell it is not spicy at all like they are supposed to be. I do like that at least they try to offer a variety in food from diverse cultures.

Everyone I have come in contact with who is employed here's at Tony's fresh market in Joliet on the NW corner of Larkin and Jefferson were very nice. Very large store.! There are so many options. Nicely done.

Reasonable prices, pretty produce, many ready to eat options. Butcher staff was friendly and helpful. Helped me pick some vibrant Rojo lake trout to top spring mix salads during the week.

Update: been frequently building salads from their Salad bar. Lettuce is fresh and crispy. Some of the Marinated veggies doent hold up too well, like the beets and Cucumbers. But, overall, very conventional and encourages healthy meals!

I am amazed by the selection, product, and overall layout of the store and how it was put together as a former Kmart to a brand new Tony's Fresh Market. I also noticed a fairly decent International market selection of foods from Latin American to the entire region of Europe down to Asian products. I intend to stick with Tony's or Mariano's for those ingredients.

Everything I've gotten from here from produce to meat to baked goods has been excellent. Huge selection of cheeses and lots of interesting imported drinks, teas, foods, and alcohol.

A few months ago I had Georgian (the Republic of, not the state) food out of state and became bit obsessed with pear lemonade/limonat. This is the first time I've found a similar offering anywhere remotely close to home and while it isn't the same brand, it is damn good! Not too carbonated, just an excellent scent and taste (and I don't think it's too strongly pear, either). I highly recommend both Tony's and Bandi pear lemonade (next to the imported liquors).

Omg I will be back for more stuff . There fruit that they cut in front of you looks good and the coconut water I will get one the next time I good

I had been looking all over the Joliet area grocery stores for specific spices to make chicken shawarma at home. I had hit Aldi, Food 4 Less and Jewel and was still missing two of the spices needed as well as missing pita bread.
I walk into Tony's and not only did they carry ALL the spices needed, they had all the fresh herbs and the pita bread.
I was simply amazed how complete their fresh herbs and spice sections of the store were.

Has a more homier feel that a big market chains. I liked shopping here. Highly recommend.

Love this store not as a big of selection as joliet but still worth the stop.

Great selection of "harder to find" fresh produce, spices, ethnic foods and regular staples too.

Best prices in town on meat with out coarse grain gristle in the middle of steaks ect

It's always a pleasure running into the new Tony's. Place is always clean. So far, they've been having the best prices and sales. So, the prices are right too. It is definitely my new go-to Grocery Store. Oh, and it always smells Awesome as soon as you enter - because of their Hot-Bar ... lol 😃👍

This Tony's is very well stocked and has an excellent produce, deli, and meat department.

Love shopping here. My wife and I were excited when we learned this location would be opening up, and we have not been disappointed. Great selections of produce, competitive prices. Hope to keep coming here for years.

Updating review since it seems the issue has mostly been resolved. Originally I rated this location much lower because of the small amount of electronic carts made it difficult to shop if you needed one but they seem to have gotten a couple more now. So it’s now much more accessible if you need a mobile cart.

Anyway, this place is pretty great. The hot food is surprisingly good, we always walk out of here with some lunch or dinner. The free samples they sometimes have had hooked us each and every time to at least one item. Base prices are kinda high but there are regularly very nice sales especially on meat.

For me it’s also a great option for international food since we don’t have any other sort of international market around the area. There’s also produce and other ingredients that you won’t find most places or might have a hard time to find.

Ultimately this is a nice stop for grocery shopping in the area. It’s not the place I would go for the basics like milk, eggs, and a simple loaf of bread, since there is no reasonably cheap options for any of those, but if you keep an eye on the ads paper it’s absolutely worth stopping in at least every other week.
