GREAT customer service! With very knowledgeable people, It’s a one stop shop. If they don’t have what you need they are always happy to help you order it or send you to another shop who has it. Besides hardware they have the cutest store cat named Smokey:)

This True Value Hardware is just one in a handful of old school do it all hardware stores. They'll tune up or repair your lawnmower, weed whip, chainsaw or pretty much any other of your yard equipment. Replace glass in an old window / storm or door and fix your screens.
They have the most knowledge about these 100+ year old homes and if you can't find it they can get it. You can even still get fishing equipment and fresh bait at this place.
On top of all that they have great prices to match there great customer service.

In this age of big-box stores for everything, I was really happy to find this place; it's an honest-to-God "hardware store." These guys know what to stock - and they know how to use their products. That puts them light years ahead of the average big-box employee, who often doesn't understand what you're looking for, and rarely has any idea of how the things they sell work.

Monday Hardware ( on Michigan Ave near Livernois) is family owned, delivering knowledgeable and personal service. Lawnmower repair is also available. Recommended.

Experience from real people who have knowledge about getting it done. At least that's what they gave me. Home depot is cool but employees have other things to do.
