Food Lion

This foodlion is always packed because they have what you need at good prices. I've also been surprised for the last few years they've had good fresh fruit... most of all SEEDED Watermelon!

I had never been to a Food Lion before and had heard horror stories. I gotta say it was a decent experience though. Store was clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Great selection. I think I'll come back next time I get a craving for chocolate pudding dirt cups.

We went back to the Food Lion on Concord Avenue, near Brook Road and Parham Road. Love the produce area, everything is displayed so nicely. The store is easy to navigate and we found everything we were looking for. Definitely recommend a visit to the Concord Avenue Food Lion!

My neighborhood grocery store. I like the fact that they still have people to check you out. Too much to do by yourself when grocery shopping for a week or more. Thanks Food Lion for putting your customers first.

Great low prices and the store was fully stocked and clean. Check out was fast and they had 4 lines open for full service. The cashier was friendly and patient. Most important she was fast.

They have some good prices on certain sale items
I always shop there when they have a sale on the things that I need
I love the really gigantic lemons and they are on sale for food lion discount card members from $0.99 to $0.69
I buy a lot of lemons, because I love lemon water

5OCT21 🌟A nice store!!! My first visit here. I usually buy my groceries at Walmart but I was in the vicinity so I decided to check it out. Very clean and well stocked.👍😃👍😃 Still, prices are higher on most items compared to Wally World.

This store had a good selection, found everything I needed for Thanksgiving.

The manager and staff at this location is very neighborhood oriented and personal with excellent service in every position especially customer service. The meats are always fresh. I have no complaints. This review was true long ago when I first posted and still stands true only better with it being corona clean and disinfected. Professional and diligent.

I really like this Food Lion. It’s clean, well stocked and appears much brighter than some other Food Lions. It’s also better staffed it seems as I’ve never been in a long line where there were no other checkout lines available. I’d say if a self check out was added sometime, it’d be top notch.

They were one of the very few open on Thanksgiving and they were ready for it. They had people on every register. The store was packed but they could not have handed it better.

I spoke with the new manager who just happened to be walking by. She was very friendly and informative. She explained why they were out of something I wanted, and that she was taking steps to fix the problem. I'll definitely keep shopping here

Aside from being busy at time this foodlion is great. They have everything you could need always organized and always stocked up. As well the cashiers are very nice and helpful. Sometimes the isles can get crowded but that can happen anywhere would definitely return.

This location have did a marvelous job on their renovations. The Food Lion have that upscale look to it now. Even the staff is happier and more friendlier. I have to get use to the new store layout, but it won't take long.

It has everything I wanted. The cashier was very nice. They had no self check outs. That is a plus in my book.

The customer service "posture" of the staff, out front and center, ready to service you is what shines bright at this Food Lion. This may be a purposeful counter to the fact they don't have any self checkout lines like their area competitors. But the prompt service and number of available lines makes up for this.

Was recently remodeled, and it's a completely different store! There is a much-improved fresh produce section, and the prices have become far more competitive! The staff are very friendly, helpful, and plentiful- no long queues- highly recommended!
