Good Asian grocery store in Ypsilanti! Located next to a Chinese buffet restaurant. They sell all sorts of food, snacks, candies, spices, frozen food, meat, seafood, produce (fruits, vegetables), to some household items and cooking equipment (wok, etc). Plenty of parking available.

Love this place. I've been going every week lately. Large selection of ingredients for different cuisines, decent amount of produce and refrigerated or frozen goods. I love that I can buy veggies, fish balls, and dried shiitake by weight! Keep in mind the $10 credit minimum, grab something extra or bring cash for smaller trips. Friendly staff.

Great selection of dry, frozen, canned/bottled products. The fresh produce section was on the small side, but it wasn’t the primary purpose for our trip so we didn’t take too close a look at their selection.

Staff was friendlier and more helpful than I’m used to, and spoke better English than expected, coming from Flushing NY.

While there’s a noticeable smell of herbal medicine and fish, it’s one of the least pungent Asian markets I’ve ever been to, including stores in Chinatown and Flushing, that has both live fish and herbal medicine. If you’re used to those markets, you probably won’t even notice the smell.

They have a large selection of produce that is hard to find elsewhere. The shelf stable foods are well rotated and have a good variety. Lots of vegan options and snacks galore. If you need house wares they got you covered as far as kitchen supplies. They also have a large collection of medicinal teas that put other places to shame. The prices are fair and the checkout is always fast. The only real downside is trying to leave on washtenaw Ave. It sucks lol but they can't control that. I can't speak for the fresh meat and seafood they have available due to me not eating that.

This is a monthly destination for me and my wife. It’s the only place we can reliably find watercress and a great place for stocking up on oyster sauce, fish sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, shaoxing, and more.

Excellent selection of foods and kitchen utensils. You won’t find a more varied selection of noodles anywhere else. I’ve shopped here dozens of times of times over the years and am always happy with the product selection and quality.

Very nice and well stocked market. Everything I've ever bought here has been a better version of that thing than anywhere else has.

Large oriental grocery store where you can get almost anything. They have a walk-in refrigerated room for some of the cold items. There’s also an entire wing for live seafood. You pick what you want from the tanks and they clean your selection for you. There’s another section where you can get reasonably priced kitchen and table ware.

An expansive grocery store with a great selection of packaged and fresh food. A great selection of dining and cooking tools. Multiple varieties of sauces and spices to suit your needs. You can find a variety of meat and vegetable dumplings, steamed buns, and other frozen foods. Bulk nuts, gifts, snacks, treats, and just about everything you need to supply a kitchen.

Chinese peanuts, Taiwanese boba powder.. they also have bobal tapioca that you have to prep, vegetarian dumplings, tofu skewers, tofu bbq...BBQ.... yum

Tons of sauces like korean BBQ for noodles or bulgogi

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME.
If you love mushrooms like myself, this place is where you go. I bought a bunch of enoki and oysters they tasted amazing. I will definitely be a frequent flyer here. If you would like to try new things, check out the freezer section. There are lots of cool choices. It's definitely worth the stop. I'll take photos my next stop.

Really good selection of vegetables! I did not notice the bad odor that some reviews have noted - smelled a little like five spice and fish, but it was no big deal.

I think we stop here everytime we are in Ypsilanti. Found a new bamboo steamer and tea making essentials as well as a few food items to try

Clearly, English is not their first language, but the workers do all they can to help you find what you need. They have some household kitchen items as well as a variety of foods. I needed specific ingredients for a Japanese meal, and I found everything I needed at this one market. Love this place!

They are part of my regular grocery store trips. You can get all your shopping done for the week here if you really wanted. Even if you don't, they have such a wide selection of products it makes it hard to not fill your fridge and freezer with goodies by the time you're done.

I often end up at Hua Xing because it's usually open later than the other Asian markets in the area, which is nice. A huge selection of Asian products, with a really good produce section where you can get staples like bean sprouts for great prices. In general, it's a fun place to explore and maybe step outside your pantry's comfort zone.

Ten stars! What a fun shopping experience! I'll buy my sesame oil, Kikomon, hoisin sauce, rice and Pocky there from now on.
