Very nice location on Cross Bay with ample parking. May look crowded, but you can turn left or right at the end of the lot for a lot more space. Store is very large and very clean. Spotless. Well lighted. Very wide center aisle, with aisles to the left and right with the over-worked Pharmacy section in the rear. Store is very neat with well stocked, orderly shelves. And people on the floor to help. A good indication of how well a store is cared for is the greeting card section. Which was extremely neat.

People tend to write reviews when they have negative experiences. I've visited this Walgreens + pharmacy 10s of times and never had an issue. I've even brought my children here for pharmacy services. All experiences have been positive.

My most recent experience was excellent. My overall experience was wonderful, thanks in large part to an employee by the name of Ricky whom has such beautiful eyes. He provided excellent customer service and represents his company Walgreens really well. Looking forward to visiting this location again.

Went to Walgreens to drop off a FedEx return. The Walgreens employee was rude and unknowledgeable to her job. First, she claimed she couldn't scan the label we had printed. When my wife asked her to scan it from my phone, she claimed it wasn't possible. After pleading a bit, she finally did it.
Is this laziness or bad attitude. NEITHER should be tolerated by management.

The pharmacy: Rude & unreliable. It's like they hate customers. It's like customers aren't ill & need of courteous & respectful service. They made mistakes several times with prescriptions by giving us the wrong brand (that causes my mom an allergic reaction & they were informed of this several times), and there were times when they had given us the wrong medicine. My mom is elderly and could easily take what they give her without noticing it. So I've reminded my mom to check the meds before she leaves. One time, while she checked it at the counter, it was the incorrect med, and they gave HER a hard time in refunding and fixing the prescription. Seriously! I myself am a doctor of medicine. At this stage, pharmacies are just taking from a big bottle of pills and filling smaller bottles and labeling them. OR, just adding a label to bottles/cartons along with stapling a slip to a bag. Does this give them the status that permits them to put people in danger, the power to be so arrogant, rude and dismissive to customers?! NO!!! They shouldn't be in the service industry AT ALL. Especially to a vulnerable population needing meds. This is likely part of the reason society is getting more dangerous, heartless, careless, self-obsessed and unaccountable. Because those we are supposed to trust betray the principles of their profession without a care or accountability. Case in point: so many bad reviews, yet nothing improves. Looks like Walgreens just doesn't give a damn.

This pharmacy is horrible. They’ve messed up my prescriptions 3 times in the past 6 months. Once I was given the wrong pill count even though the number on the bottle and the prescription slip were correct. The other two times my time sensitive medication was not available and no one contacted me until I was at the counter for pick up. The pharmacy has my phone number on file. The least they could have done is given me a courtesy call so that I could have my doctor call it in somewhere else. They do not care about their patients. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I would give 0 stars if possible.

Worst Pharmacy. Do not get your prescriptions processed at the Howard Beach Location they will tell you the prescription is ready you go and there is nothing ready for you. They lie constantly, extremely unprofessional, Extremely rude to Senior Citizens. This location should be closed down. Zero Stars

The pharmacy is atrocious! The so called pharmacists are nasty and sarcastic towards customers and always out of medications. Their response to that is to search other walgreens pharmacies to find the medication. Really?!
I had to get a covid shot today. I waited over an hour, paperwork I filled out on line wasn't in their computer. I was ready to walk out. When I finally saw the so called pharmacist, I couldn't understand his accent, he rushed so much I wasn't sure I was getting the correct covid shot. All I got was a yeah yeah yeah out of him. Then he jabbed that needle in so fast and hard i jumped and screamed. Never, ever will I trust Walgreens with anything. I'm stuck getting my perscriptions filled there for now. My suggestion to everyone: Don't ever go to them for any shots or perscriptions!! They do not know how to properly administer them. I got so disgusted today I contacted the main office in Dearborn Illinois. Hopefully they'll at least reprimand the store, but who knows. I can honestly say they were quite angry at the way the store deals with customers and the treatment I experienced.

Customer service sucks at this location. Staff is very rude and unprofessional. Bumping into you and no manners to say sorry, not helpful at all. Shouldn’t even be working in customer service with their attitude. Would never go back to this location.

The pharmacist working today 4/24 in the morning should change her attitude toward the clients. It is not the first time she is nasty to me, and I know from others that’s her normal attitude.

This is one of the worst stores. They’re rude and they constantly cancel delivery orders and when you call they either hang up on you or say that they don’t do delivery. Obviously they don’t know that DoorDash does the delivery. Poor management and customer service!
