For real, every time I go to my friends house ‘always’ like to bring the Eclairs, it’s amazing and there’s 2 flavors ‘strawberry, and chocolate’ I recommend both, there’re delicious and fresh:. Yum

Central Market

One of the best grocery stores in Austin in terms of quality. It can be pricey, though. They sell lovely bread. My favorite is their rye eastern European style bread. Central Market is the easiest place to find heirloom tomatoes, great selection of mushrooms. You can find local farmers' milk and many more specialty items.

Their north location also has cooking classes. Recommend it as a date idea.

Huge shout out to the floral department at Westgate. We ordered arrangements and single stems for our daughters bridal shower. Sent them picture and they did an amazing job. Done on time super friendly staff. NOTE this picture is a WHOLE week after the event. They still look great!

Every time I am out of town and see that there is a Central Market nearby, I know that I will be eating well. This location was such a joy to discover.I came back multiple times to enjoy all of their great takeout options including an olive bar, Cheese platters, coffee, and lots of craft beers that you can buy by the can. Fingers crossed that we get one of these in my Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas soon!

The new take home meal that is part of Passaporte Portugal is amazing! The roasted linguica sausage with potato and onions. The veggies were incredible, the shredded carrot mix. Lots of vinegar. Try this meal before it’s gone!

Very nice place, with children playground, lots of branded goods shops like William Solamar, GAP, the only thing I hope it will change is the car park lot, hope they can draw a little bigger as it is only meant for small car. Love to eat at the central market HEB

The best grocery store in Austin. It’s definitely worth the trip. Just bought some amazing wild caught salmon… absolutely delicious. You gotta come here over Whole Foods trust me Whole Foods is just clocking it in at this point

Pricey! But one of my favorite HEB in Austin because of the varieties of food, especially the cheese area, oh hell!! All of it!! I love all of it also the live events I accidentally catch ...love the vibe and the customer service is usually pretty good

I ordered my daughter’s graduation bouquet here because they have a beautiful floral department. I gave them a Chimmy doll to include because my daughter is Army and loves BTS. They put the most beautiful bouquet together, she received compliments all night about them. I highly recommend.

The produce section alone is enough to hook you, but the attentiveness and willingness to help you find anything from every staff member I encountered keeps bringing me back. I will say the cafe fries, which are always a highlight from my San Antonio Central Market experience, were a letdown here, but the burger with additions (gouda, avocado,and bacon) didn't disappoint.

Coffee Selection is great. Larger selection of bulk Addison Coffee than North Lamar.

Cafe food is excellent. They do have lunch specials on the weekend that they have on display but the displays mentioning them have small print.
There is a mention of a menu update on May 8th

The updated menu for breakfast removes the spinach and tomatoes for all.
Omelette looks pretty lonely.
Other than the cheese they charge $.50 per ingredient.
All American looks better but they charge $2.00 extra for Bacon or Sausage.

Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich is delicious they use pepper encrusted brisket.

Salsa is sometimes underwhelming best way to find out is to go to the salsa bar in the dining area, so you won't waste money buying salsa that tastes like it is missing ingredients.

One of the best Grocery stores in Austin metro region. If cooking is your vice, this place got it all. They have great ready to eat good selections. If you are a serious about cooking, go here

Central market is such an underrated dating destination. Their café food is yummy and the whole store smells of deliciousness from crack cheese to aromatic plants and fruits. When ordering from the café you'll have the option to have them text you when your food is ready so that you can explore the store while you wait if you so choose.

You might pay a slightly higher premium for some of the items here, but they are worth it. It's like they get first pickings of all the quality fruits, cheeses, etc. (My girlfriend works in an HEB cheese department and she always exclaims at how they seem to get all the cheese that are marked not available when she's trying to order for her store. Take from that remark what you will. Central Market is owned by HEB so that wouldn't necessarily surprise me.)

The biggest difference between the South Lamar Central Market and the North Lamar location is that this location is surrounded by cute little stores, while the North Lamar location has a large out-door patio, a playground, and a pond. Both locations have live music from time to time.

The service here is also exceptional. We've been coming here for years now and we've never had a bad run in as far as I can remember.

There are two set of bathrooms that are located in the front of the store. One on the left side by the café there other is by the floral department. Both are considerably clean considering it is a grocery store.

Love Central Market ! Great healthy good food, easy parking, friendly staff, (especiallyin Gelato area,), conventional location, good dining, tasty food and free live music ! I ordered the Greek Salad with fresh salmon on top. It was delightful and the flowers on the tables were pretty too. Nice touch. Also the girl working in Gelato was so kind to me when I told her my Mom died and it was my bday. ♡ WB
