Visiting Austin and took my grandchild there during the bitter cold. She loved it and I did as well. Lots of fun, educational and interesting toys for her (2 years old) and great clothes/shoes.

I love this store! This location was very large with a great selection of shoes, clothes, and gifts. They always have fantastic sales and great brands in stock. The employees are super helpful and friendly. The store was clean and organized!

Love shopping at this place! It has a little of everything. On this trip I wanted to get a few items for a friend who recently shared she's is pregnant. My sister was bragging about how she bought the perfect pair of shoes to wear while traveling, on a previous trip here. The book selection (adults and kid) is awesome. It's well with your time to stop by!

If you’re looking to go camping in the woods or on the street this is definitely your first stop pretty cool gear for everything it definitely reeks of Austin but there’s a location in Dallas and San Antonio. #REI

I went there to get gifts for my nieces who are exceedingly hard to buy for. I walked in and immediately found more things that I was excited to buy for them then I could actually afford! I whittled it down and with the help of the friendly staff was able to get them some really cool gifts! What a lifesaver and what a Time saver! Thank you!

This store is full of treasures. Great selection of outdoor gear and more. Staff didn't talk to me at all and I have a hard time finding what I needed. But I would definitely go back, especially if I am looking for a gift.

This is a follow up review. Original is posted beleow: I did receive a call from Bridgett Thom (who'd been on vacation) and she was nice and assuring, said the store's been having a tougher time of things since covid, but they were working on the customer service issue. She encouraged me to give them another try, and as I do love so much about them, including their selection, I dropped by to check out some tevas. Just so happens I arrived 30 minutes before closing, but I was still greeted, (not glared at) and the girl in the shoe department, (Elle?) didn't rush me, was super helpful and friendly. I really want this store to make it- they've been around a long time, and they are pure Austin. So I changed my one star review. Nobody's perfect, but it is encouraging to see someone own it , and try to do better.

Original Review: Incredibly poor customer service. Employees grouped around cash register chatting it up, not interested in helping with sizing, or product questions. Only activity they do seem interested in (besides ringing up sales) is locking dressing room door behind you, as you get a different size, so you have to interrupt their conversation to get the door unlocked again. Tried to offer feedback over a week ago through customer support, they said the oft referred to : "Bridgett Thom" would be in touch. Never was.

One of my favorite clothing stores anywhere. The staff is kind and friendly and knowledgeable. There’s no pressure to buy anything - just being in theirs space is a fun experience. They literally have everything you need for outdoor experiences. I also love their board game section :)

Great store for gifts of all ages or even your pets. Plenty of outdoor necessities for camping/hiking etc. Friendly staff. This place has always been such a fun spot to go into and browse.

Whole Earth has better stuff than REI. There, I said it. Not that I don't love REI as well, but I feel like Whole Earth's product selection is more curated and better quality. Not quite as much selection, but a surprising amount given the size of their store. Great friendly service, usually pretty knowledgeable. I love this place!
