River Valley Co-op of East Hampton is a wonderful Co-op market with a variety of Local Seasonal Organic Produce and Products! Large and Organized Bulk section with numerous "Bring your own bottle" options:) Thank you

River Valley Co-op offers a pleasant shopping experience. Well stocked, many gluten free choices, many bulk items. I prefer Northampton store as Deli is great, Special orders accepted for bakery items. Wonderful GF carrot 🥕 cake for your special occasion.

This was a nice supermarket with lots of items that are hard to find elsewhere. It was fun mosieing down the aisles looking for something to jump out screaming for your consumption.

The staff were friendly and the floors looked clean. Overall I think I would like to return. It helps that there is an amazing food shack right around back serving expensive, but worth it, lobster rolls.

But that's neither here nor there. What's important is that the Co-op is a good place to get your groceries.

River Valley Co-op is a great, community-based, sustainability-conscious market. I've been looking for a waste-minimizing, plastic-neutral, locally sourced place to shop for household essentials. There's an extensive selection of organic produce, bulk products, zero Styrofoam butcher counter, non-dairy foods, holistic health vitamins and supplements, fun gadget gifts....and more. Plus, a welcoming atmosphere, helpful employees always have a smile; just good vibes all around.

I’m a frequent customer who shops there multiple times a week. I want to acknowledge Gary in the meat department for the fantastic above-and-beyond customer service he provided me today! He is a customer service legend! Thank you Gary! I love the co-op so much, and it’s people like Gary and the entire meat department team who provide next-level customer service that make the co-op a special place!

I can't speak highly enough about how Austin resolved an issue I had with a return to River Valley Co-op in Easthampton. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the resolution. What started out as a minor frustration, ended with my feeling like a truly valued co-op member. It made my day - thanks so much Austin!

This is my second time being in these co-ops. I'm really impressed with the quality of the food. We got some beautiful pre-made holiday meals that were delicious and so very easy

I love this place so much. It’s perfect. There are all the options you could ever want or need. The prices are reasonable for prepared food. The dining deck is a pleasure. The aroma is devine.

Great parking, friendly and helpful services, great produce and overall selection. I especially like being able to buy in bulk and also refill containers.

Decent prices plenty of products free samples of goodies. My new favorite place to go.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Fresh, local produce, sustainable goods, homemade prepared foods, beer, wine, local meats and sustainable seafoods! Love it! The staff are always helpful, friendly, and knowledgable.

And the icing on the cake … small shopping carts for the toddler that made his day!

- update Feb ‘22: Still love this place however I’ve got to say the prepared food section seems managed poorly. Compared to what is a friendly and efficient process at the NoHo location, this location is lacking. Unsure where to wait in line for prepared foods or deli. Slow, bland service. Poor signage. Wish they had more prepared salads like the smoked salmon/ tuna more often or at all. Just don’t get the inviting vibe or the neighbor-like feeling you get at the other location and frankly the food could be better. The wine, cheese, produce and butcher sections are great. The cashiers are awesome and friendly. Still love ya’ll but hope this helpful criticism improves you! Thanks

Love love love. Everything you could possibly need or want and super friendly staff! The bulk section is amazing.

Super place! 👏👏 Healthy food, friendly help and pleasant environment (with wifi!) Awesome "eggplant stacks" and pecan tilapia 🐟 They've got what I want w/close disabled parking. Check-out can't compare with other grocery stores; RVC cashiers are very helpful and would never put a whole watermelon on top of a loaf of bread or a carton of eggs 👍😋 ❤

Great selection of organic foods. Veggies, fruits, baked goods, you name it they got it. Helpful staff.

This place is the best. High quality local produce, friendly and patient staff, and conveniently located so that I can stop and get a $1 coffee any time I didn’t have time to make a pot before leaving home that morning. I find myself often running in and out several times a day for the little things I think of needing. Plus- their parking lot is covered in solar panels! This is such a smart design and they are a model for other businesses working on developing more environmentally friendly models.

Delicious vegan options available including pizza, grilled tofu sandwiches, pasta salads and desserts. Highly recommended.

Best dine-in grocery store in the area! Only place I can find an amazing selection of water crackers, actually fresh bulk items, my favorite tonics, treats like local-ish smoked mussels... Don't miss the custom blend smoothie bar. Especially love the light filled, spacious indoor + outdoor seating area. Stay-tuned for photos!

As a starting member many years ago, I can't rate the coop high enough for its local market, environmental impact, and amazing contributions to the community.
